Hello friends! Sorry I have been so MIA!
Mom - your little man is adorable!!
Sunshine - I hope IVF is going well :)
Nikki - hey you! hope you're doing well!
Sassa we miss you!
LittleOwl I hope you're feeling well
Nicksy - how are you my dear?
Zebra - good luck this cycle!

AFM - I'm now 9 weeks. I had a lot of symptoms around week 7 that subsided now. Still a few waves of feeling nauseous if I haven't had anything to eat. We had an ultrasound last week and saw our little bean and it had a great heart rate. It doesn't feel real. but I am trying to be positive.

Sunshine: goodluck! My retrieval wasn't that bad. You read lots of horror stories. I was awake the whole time, got to watch the procedure and recovery was fine. Honestly the IV insertion was the most painful part. A few pinches when they put local freezing in my vaginal walls but it was fine. They also gave me IV pain medication at the time of the procedure. But honestly it will be fine. I accidentally lifted by 45lbs nephew the next day without thinking.
I am sure your RE has cautioned you about this. You've got some great sized follicles. Just remember the follicle does not equal egg and egg does not equal mature egg. I am keeping my everything crossed that you end up with an awesome crop of mature eggs that fertilize beautifully. Keep us updated if you can :)

Hi everyone! Thanks for the kinds words!

Retrieval was yesterday AM. I was out for all of it and woke up feeling great and comedic, they said. I'm SUPER bloated and crampy and constipated, but that's it.

They got 10 eggs! The doctor was so thrilled she almost cried. I do not know how many were mature and I'll hear today on how many fertilized. The anticipation is killing me!

I am so overjoyed to see everything going on with you ladies these days. So many awesome steps and now 2 pregnancies.

Beth, hope you feel better with less nausea soon! I really liked sour things, licking the salt off skinny pretzel rods, and “preggy pop drops”. Also, keep up on food and water to help!

I’m now on a nursing journey, it’s hard to keep up pumping with work! I find myself drinking a ton of water and some blue Gatorade, eating thins like nuts and dates, and taking all the supplemental herbs. Lol.

Hello Nickysy, Beth, Mom, Nikki!

Hope all is well with you!

AFM: Transfer update! When we got to the lab on Day 5 transfer day none of my embryos were blastocysts yet. They transferred the two furthest along morulas. They were not confident the others would advance, but would leave them be until today (Day 6.) Well my embies are fighters and 1 of the remaining 4 made it to freeze. I'm thrilled. Hopefully that means the two transferred kept developing as well.

This whole process is so nervewracking. I never got emotional, I'm trying to stay positive and accept the path ahead of me one way or the other.
