I couldn't get an appointment with a fertility specialist until AUGUST... 16th actually. Happy anniversary. My gyno is great, she'll probably tell me to relax and eat more spinach or something lol. She doesn't have the same sense of urgency like I do. I didn't want to go on Clomid, but I didn't have a choice. She won't refer me to the specialist until 3 failed cycles. I'm on the 3rd now.

The 16th is our due date, lol. Maybe its universal fate in our group? Mine comes out and yours goes in?

As of this weekend I'm getting a lot of "holy crap your belly just all the sudden got HUGE"
I was with my mom Saturday and Sunday and she kept staring at me (since she's my mom that doesn't really bother me) and then she said "seriously, you're having a 20lb baby, he's huge all the sudden and you still have 3 months to go" then she'd stare more and tell me again. Now at work this morning people are telling me that since Friday it looks much bigger and keep whispering "twins". I now know how my mom felt when she was pregnant with me, I was 9lb2.5oz and my mom is like 5'2" 110lbs with no hips so she must've been alllllll belly. People always asked her if she was sure it was twins--like even random strangers at the store would say that.

Now I'm nervous I'll be humugous by august, three more months and this babe is growing like a weed!!! I out on like 6 pounds between my last 2 appointments (going every 4 weeks still now) but my arms/legs haven't changed much, it's all in the bump. He's going to be a giant :O

My mom actually did have twins lol. She was also short and skinny!

I got an appointment at another reproductive endocrinology and fertility center on June 12th. Hopefully I don't have to go at all. We will find out if this cycle worked next week right at the start of my vacation in Arizona with my whole family. But hey I'll take it!

Sunshine: Yay for the new appointment! I am glad you got an early one. But hopefully you won't need it. Have a good time at your vacation.

Mom: Your belly story is so hilarious. I am sure you look great!

Beth, Sassa: I hope you ladies are doing fine too.

AFM, we are going for IVF in our next cycle. I am waiting for AF to start. Have to report to doctors office on cycle day 2. A little anxious about the entire thing. But doing ok.

Hi ladies!
Sunshine - I'm glad you have an appointment!
Nicksy - fingers crossed we'll be seeing a BFP from you real soon!
Mom - glad you're doing well :)
Sassa, Nikki - how are things?
AFM just trucking a long. This cycle is totally weird. The slow burn (tan/brown tinged CM) started already on "CD18". I think taking Progesterone last month extended that cycle, maybe it ran into this current one?
Who knows. We really haven't been thinking much about TTC. I don't know... I figure it's going to take some degree of intervention from doctors so why worry now... we're focusing on our cross country move atm.
I miss you ladies! Hoping for some BFPs this year

Hello everyone..

Sunshine and Beth: Thank you so much!

Beth: I have sort of put my faith in intervention too. Hoping for a BFP for all of us soon!

AFM, it's cycle day 3 ending now. I went to my doc with my tests for day 3. Seems like my LH is on a higher side than they would want to. So i have been advised for meds including lupron this cycle. And we will do stims in next cycle.

Nickysy very excited for your IVF adventure, FX it works!!! I have a coworker whose wife was well into her 40s when they ttc #2, tried for a few years and finally did ivf, two eggs and they have boy-girl twins. So, it works! I think she had all sorts of meds as well due to her age, I work with husband though so he doesn't really know everything they did, he didn't even know the term "IVF" but explained they out two eggs in her, lol. Men! I have to ask bc I have no idea, what's stims?

Beth good luck on your move! Sounds stressful but exciting to get to where you're going. Maybe the distraction is just what you and DH need!

Sunshine where are you in your cycle? I can't recall now bc I didn't log in for a while, were you two taking a break also?

Afm, feeling good, a little fluffy haha! I did a workout recently that included jumping switch lunges and I could barely get my toes off the ground during the switch. Haha!!! I now understand what heavyset people setting out on a fitness journey must feel like. It was a little frustrating bc I used to get some serious air in plyo workouts but I know it's not that I'm suddenly weak, I just have a 15 pound weight on my stomach now. Switching gears a bit and taking long walks 3-5 days a week bc that feels better and I want to continue to move through the next 11.5 weeks. Man, I miss real workouts, I didn't realize I had such a strong dependency on my fitness routine!

Mom - I really admire your commitment to physical fitness, both outside of and during pregnancy!!
Nicksy, so exciting! I have my everything crossed for you, just think - two more cycles to BFP!!!!!!! That is what I will be holding in mind for you.

Ladies - I'm feeling all over the place. We're packing & things are going well. I think we'll have everything ready well before the move.

The Facebook pregnancy announcements just don't stop. I try to remind myself that I have no idea what people went through/are going through to keep the jealousy at bay. I have to be honest though, these days I'm much less fixated on the desire to have a child. I'm sort of relieved not to be pregnant and packing or, trying to pack with a little one. It's more this competitive feeling that comes out when I see someone else is pregnant, I'm sorry to say :(

Also, to my point, a pregnant colleague recently told us that their baby is not in good health :( there are several abnormalities and they won't know anything until the child is born. I am gutted for them. That was a good reality check for me. Be grateful for what I have and remain hopeful for the future.

Sassa, Nikki, Sunshine - hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Beth, keep your head up! I had that feeling of competitive keeping up with the Jones' too. But, like you said, you can't know what t took anyone else to get their bfp or what their life is really like outside of the internet world where everything is peachy.

So sorry to hear about your coworkers baby. I can't imagine receiving any such news. Though, I have a close friend who had an amniocentesis with her DD bc her boyfriend had a cousin with Down syndrome and they wanted to make sure she didn't. I believe this was after the US where they check the skin flap thickness that tells the dr your chance of risk for chromosomal abnormalities. Anyhoo, she was told their DD had dandy walker syndrome and turners syndrome. Turners isn't too bad, their little girl will be sterile, it causes (can cause) neck webbing and also barrel-bodied and short. Sandy walker has far more issues from developmental to physical. She is a totally normal 3 year old now though! She definitely has turners, very minimal neck webbing, you really can't even tell and she is super short and dainty but for girls that's not even that noticeable. They (the drs) decided a year or so ago that she only has dandy walker variant also. I hope for your coworker that their little one has the same outcome, a far better prognosis after birth than all the what ifs they're given during their pregnancy <3

Thanks for your encouragement, Mom :)

We're at the start of another cycle... DH and I should be able to BD during the fertile window this month. I'm going to try prometrium again and we'll see. Fingers crossed. We have an appointment with a new doctor after we move, first week of August. It's nice to take a break from all the blood work and ultrasounds. I don't know, my husband and I aren't religious in the conventional sense but we definitely believe that things happen for a reason. He is more at peace with that than I am. Right now getting ready to move our entire life across the country I sort of agree that things have worked out for the best but it's still hard sometimes.

Sassa, Nikki, Nicksy, Sunshine - would love to hear from you!

Mom - keep that little man of your's cozy & safe and enjoy your pregnancy, I'm really excited for you and your family :)

Mom: Love the fact that you are still pursuing physical fitness! I am so lazy... Trying to take some inspiration from you. Stims refer to the hormonal injections which are given to produce multiple no of eggs.

Beth: Sorry to hear about your colleague. I hope everything goes by fine. I am glad you are trying in this cycle again. Beleieve me, I would love to get rid of all the pricks, ultrasounds. Blah! Me and DH aren't really that religoous either, but do believe there is a reason for everything. Somehow dots just connect at the end.

Sunshine, Nikki, Sassa: Hoping you ladies are doing well too.

AFM, with my last tests, LH was on a slightly higher side than they wanted. So I am on BC pills for this month. Which was supposed to be followed by Lupron injections (it supresses LH and FSH), followed by FSH injections when the period starts. That was the protocol explained to me. However, my TSH all of a sudden came super low, with all the other hormones and antibodies in normal range. So I have to do repeat testing in a weeks time. Endo says that there can be these possibilities:
1. Its a transient condition, which can happen due to some inflammation, and will get back to normal on its own.
2. If TSH remains low, with all other hormones normal, we can proceed with IVF as planned in mext cycle.
3. If its the evolving phase, where TSH is low, and other hormone levels are increasing, then we will have to do other tests to rule out the causes, and first treat this. Meds for hyperthyroidism are not that easy to to be taken in pregnancy.

I have sort of had a week of my emotions running up and down. Good days, bad days. But am in a much better zone. Another wait, another test.

Hey ladies! Sorry I've been MIA again...ttc is just a bit much at times. I've been working a lot with Df and my company as well as took a job that I leave to train for tomorrow. I'll be gone 23 days!! I decided to take a job in case we need more funds to finally bring a baby into this world. I'm currently 5 dpo on my first cycle of Femara after the 4 failed Clomid cycles. If no positive this month, we move to iui next month.

How is everyone?? I really did miss you all!!

Where has sassa gone?!?! I miss her! Everyone is so quiet lately, I've been super busy with summer and DD as well but I always expect there to be new posts when I check in once a week or so,but nothing!

How is everyone? Enjoying the warm weather? I'm feeling fluffy as hell and I think I'm beginning to retain water weight, ugh! My boobs are absurdly large too, I have one maternity swimsuit and I tried on a few of my regular ones just for fun this weekend..I can easily wear the side-tie style bottles but all of my tops just laugh at me. Lol! They don't even cover the lower part of my breast up to the nipple for strapless style tops and triangle style ones don't cover my nipple across. Haha!!! Looks like I'll be living in that maternity one piece all summer!

Mom. Looks like everyone is busy as well. I keep checking too. But there was no response after my last message. Enjoy your swimsuit season. Its pretty hot where i live! I went to swimming pool today. But it was more to take my little niece to have a first taste of it. I have only recently learnt how to use my hands and legs for basic style swimming. Still can't breathe properly. Have to work on stamina.
