Hello friends,
Very close to moving day!
I am already 9 DPO!
I don't have a requisition for a hcg blood test though...
When should I test??
The new fertility clinic wants me to do cycle day 2-5 blood work but I am worried this will all be messed up by being on Progesterone.
How is everyone?

Beth: Progesterone in the previous cycle does not mess with blood work of new cycle.. so don't worry about it. I just have a feeling you are close to BFP very soon.

Mom and Beth: Thanks for the wishes. We have started with the IVF stims.

Oh my goodness ladies. I got my teeth cleaned today and my gums were bleeding like nuts!!! I think it's because of the Progesterone supplementation. It was like a horror movie. I think the hygienist was scared!!

Hello ladies, nearing the end of my TWW this month. I've been so busy unpacking that I haven't been symptom spotting. I have no idea what's happening. When we were unpacking we found a clearblue digital that I had stashed away but I have no other pregnancy tests in the house atm. I've been too lazy to go out and buy something lol... I just don't believe that I could be pregnant.

BFN today with FRER on about a 4 hr hold
Not surprised really...
I guess a blood test would be more definitive
Not sure what to do - if I should test again tomorrow or just stop taking the Progesterone and let AF come.

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA. We were just so busy....

Update on me: We failed on the 3rd round of Clomid  so off to the RE we went. Currently in a testing cycle to see if IUI is our next option. I'm a HOT MESS. I won't know any results until the full scale of testing is complete and it is AGONIZING. Does trying naturally even make sense this month? It's the worst feeling in the world.

I'm actually skipping a baby shower and I don't even care.

Good morning sunshine
Sorry to hear about the failed cycle :(
I have been through the testing as well and you'r eright, it is not fun. I just want to prepare you for your results. Oftentimes there is no issue found on the testing and sometimes there is. I spent so much energy stressing about this and it took a toll on me. It wasn't worth it.
Do what you need to do to stay sane. BD for fun. Stay home from the shower. Try to focus on the positive, which sounds crazy, but there are silver linings here. You're going to see an expert and it is their job to help you get pregnant. Try to take it one step at a time.
Tne begimning of our testing was terrible for me. A really hard time.
I've come to a place of acceptance at this point and it is helping me cope much better. But you have to go through it in your own way I suppose. Just trying to save you some suffering.... *hugs

afm I stopped the progesterone, well I forgot it last night, maybe I will pick up another test on the way home. Our appt with the RE is August 3rd. If we don't fall pregnant before October we will run into some trouble with our jobs and not having maternity/paternity leave. Don't want to go into any details beyond that but it has been on my mind.

Nicksy how are your IVF stims going?

Beth - I feel you. My husband has been trying to tell me I'm normal and that being upset is the right reaction, but also to just take it one day at a time. I'm more emotional that he is. It has hit me HARD this month. I KNOW in my heart that we are taking the right steps, but it's scary. And I FEEL like there is absolutely nothing wrong with me, but I guess I'll find out once this testing is done. I have no one to talk to (except you guys) I have a friend who did IVF, but she conceived naturally with her first, so I feel like the struggle (which she expected) for #2 is not even remotely the same. My sister tried for a while, but got pregnant on her 3rd round of Clomid so never had any testing beyond a HSG.

I feel like I'm just floating through life right now. We are skipping a christening because it involves staying over a night at our cabin during prime BD time and I'm scared to get distracted and miss testing for my surge. I have to go away at the end of July, but it's hopefully before I would need to start my IUI. I HAVE to go, so I don't really have a choice (I guess I don't have to go, but I coach cheerleading and I'm taking 2 teams to a national competition so I will be a shitty person if I backed out.)

Sunshine: I am sorry about the BFN on clomid. Ttc is a roller coaster of emotions as it is. And a concoction of tests, with the hope, trials and despair month after month doesn't really fair well for the psychology. Like Beth mentioned, you have to figure out your own way to accept the fact that science can help you. I have had months where AF literally broke me. Right now, i have left everything on IVF. It didn't come easy. Financially, emotionally it was a big decision for us. Still, we both know that it is our best chance. And that is all you can give. You coach for cheerleading, let us be your personal cheerleaders. If you need to stay away from baby showers and christening, then be it. Do what makes you happy. Another friend here on this forum got pregnant the cycle she left clomid. So yeah, possibilities can be any. Try not to worry about the tests so much. If there is an issue, it will most likely be resolved via meds. If there isn't, that's great. Because it makes you a superb candidate for IUI or IVF. Science is there to support you. Try to embrace it.

Beth: I am so sorry about the BFN. I am glad you are in a better frame of mind though. I hope your RE can help you get pregnant before October. AFM, my IVF stims are going fine. Had my ultrasound today. They have changed some meds. According to doctor, I will most probably have my eggs retrieval on monday, 3rd July. Which means after 9-10 days of stims.

Hi all-

Went back to the doc today for blood testing after my LH surge. Was able to view my Day 3 test results online and they are not good. I can't see the RE for interpretation and next steps until August 1 (WHAT) so my husband and I and trying to speed that up.

I had 3-4 follies on my R side plus a cyst (6MM) and just 2 follies on my L side. My FSH level was 12. My AMH was .9. My e2 was 56.

I am devastated. I've already been on clomid and it didn't work, so I'm not feeling too great about my chances. We thought we were going to move to IUI treatment, but sounds like that won't even be a possibility.

It's such a shock to see those numbers. My full testing won't be complete yet, but it doesn't look good.
