I think your chart looks great! If the elevated Reno is because if clomid, that doesn't matter- it's still up, which means progesterone is still in play, so that's great!

Update on me... Last night I was having AF type cramps when I went to bed and was expecting to wake up to a big temp drop and possibly bleeding.

I had a fitful night's sleep (stressing about temping!) and we didn't sleep with the AC on for the first time in weeks, so I was constantly pulling the covers off and putting them back on. I got a half temp drop. Normally my temp goes from around 98 to around 97 on the day AF starts (but I have 2 cycles where it was 97.4 and 97.5 on CD 1). Today it was 97.6. So that's not much help!

It's still pretty low for bfp range, though. My guess is this one's not going to stick. I didn't bother testing this morning, as mid-day pee seems to be the best for me. I'll update again this afternoon.

Aw bummer on your temp :/ but I still don't think you can 100% count yourself out yet! I will say a prayer that you have a sticky bean. If it's not would you classify this a chemical? I don't really know the difference between a chemical and early loss (that is probably terrible for me to not know). I have several friends who had chemical pregnancies and then had a viable pregnancy the next cycle- I remember someone telling me that you are like "extra" fertile after a chemical for whatever reason .

Thanks for sending me some positive thoughts/vibes haha- like I said, I am cautiously optimistic that at the very least the clomid is helping with progesterone making the likelihood of a BFP a little more likely :) I haven't checked CP/CM yet today- I wanted to drink a lot first- yesterday in the AM I was dry but after drinking water all day it was super abundant- so I want to give it awhile haha

I forgot to mention this morning before breakfast I had a pretty intense bout of nausea (I had the stomach bug in February and it reminded me of how I felt then before I got sick the first time). It lasted a few minutes then passed, but after eating my stomach continued to feel "off" for quite a while. I am sure it's more than likely just the progesterone in my system (which hasn't been a sticking around this long lately) but wishful thinking it's something else :)

I don't know that there is a specific definition for a chemical other than "early loss." I think my other losses, both at 5 weeks would even count in some people's books as chemicals. I prefer to call them losses, because AF was over a week late and I got my bfp's early. This one I would probably consider a chemical, since AF could still show up pretty much on time, maybe just a day or two late, and I'm getting lines, but very faint, and rather late considering my history of early bfp's. It would still be enough of a loss to count as #3, though, in my opinion. So if AF shows, I'll be looking into seeing an RE.

:/ I was going to ask if you would make an appointment with the RE depending on the outcome of this cycle. In the event that you have to go the RE route I pray they will be able to provide you with some answers. In the meantime I guess be as calm / optimistic as you can.

Yeah, not looking great... Took 2 tests at lunch time with very concentrated pee. Free had a barely there line that I could only see if I held it just the right way or put in the light of the window. Wondfo didn't have any line until it dried, and even then was so faint I couldn't get a picture of it. My guess is things peaked around 9 dpo when I had all of those tight pregnancy type cramps, then faded away. That would line up with my darkest tests a couple of days later when that level of HCG would have reached my urine. I feel slightly AF ish, but not really. I definitely don't feel pregnant. My best guess is that AF will be here tomorrow, 1-2 days late.

Oh Bee I am SO sorry :/ do you need a referral for an RE where you are? It are you able to do self referrals? I think (for what it's worth) that the RE is definitely the right step- I was reading about someone who indicated they also had a number of early losses and even though they had a regular period and a 14 day LP their progesterone was low when they were tested. Have you ever done the CD3 / CD21 tests before? I know my general doctor had also tested my thyroid as apparently that has something to do with hormonal production also. I truly hope that you are able to find answers.

Ugh. I just wrote out a long response and my phone died right before I hit submit! That happens all the time and it drives me nuts! It doesn't give any warning that it's shutting off, so if I'm not paying attention to the battery icon, I don't plug it in in time. :(

Anyway... Yes, I believe I do need a referral for the RE, which my OB was willing to give me last time I saw him, but hubby and I decided to try for one more pregnancy to see if it was really necessary (since they normally refer you after 3 losses and we had only had 2). The RE and perinatologist he mentioned were both located about 30 minutes from here in a bigger town. But I just spoke with a grandmother of one of the kids Henry met at library story time and she said her daughter had a local specialist called in while she was pregnant last time and had been seeing him since. She thought he was an RE or perinatologist, but that he also sees regular patients. She thought I might be able to get transferred over to him as my regular OBGYN and get some things looked into that way without the travel and hefty price tag often associated with seeing the specialists.

I'll have to put a call in to my OB and see how he feels about that option. My guess is they are in different networks and so he wouldn't be able to refer me over there, but maybe he's aware of him and can tell me if that might be the route to go. My OB has a heavy patient load and I think that's why he wasn't really willing to do much for me. I went to him last time to see if he could measure my lining before O and check progesterone levels afterwards. He did do an ultrasound but when I asked about my lining he basically said it didn't mean anything (??) and that he doesn't check progesterone, but that he'd be happy to send me to a specialist. So I don't think he'd be offended if I asked to see another doctor in town, assuming that doctor does look into these things!

They did check my general thyroid levels with my last pregnancy, and said it looked fine, but from what I've read, they only look at one thing there and there can still be thyroid problems going on even if the basics look good. The only thing that came back abnormal was my hemoglobin a1c levels which basically means I'm insulin resistant but I don't have diabetes... yet. I've been trying to lose weight and eat better so I would *hope* there is some change there, but I haven't been retested. I was just barely in prediabetic range in June, so I would guess I'm well on my way to reversing that.

Hopefully AF will have shown up by Monday and I can call and talk to the nurse at my OB's office about my options. I feel ok about the outcome of this cycle, but the more I think about it, the more nervous I get for the future. This is opening up a whole new door that I really didn't see myself going through. I can only hope that I'm able to see someone pretty soon and get some answers.

Hopefully you are able to get into the new OB/specialist that is a little more local to you. And hopefully your current doctor would be understanding, especially if you are transferring to someone who would be willing to help you a bit more. I don't understand why a general OB can't test progesterone ?! It's a blood test for goodness sake haha. But I have seen several other posts where people said the same thing- makes no sense to me at all! Hopefully when you call they are able to get you in pretty quick- when I did my initial transfer to the RE it was about a 3 month wait :/ I understand the concern for the future- I am in the same boat. I will be 34 in November and I know that as I get older this isn't going to get any easier.

AFM, my temp went down to 97.61 (so still well
Above cover, but definitely the lowest it has been since o'ing) so I have a feeling it is starting its downward trend and that AF will be here in the next day or 2. I am headed to the pharmacy today to pick up my next round of clomid, and I will also pick up a B12 complex vitamin, and I will ask about over the counter progesterone cream when I am there. I am just determined to make this happen - and I guess at this point I just need to try everything!

Aw, shoot. :( Today is officially CD 1 for me. I'm feeling ok about it, though, as I've got a bit of a plan as for where to go from here. I know my doctor has a heavy patient load, so I think he just outsources anything beyond routine gynecology and obstetrics. It's annoying, but it's probably for the best to get a second opinion.

FYI, I'm starting a facebook group with 10-15 ladies from here. It will be dedicated to TTC (so if people get pregnant, they are welcome to stay and support others ttc, but I've asked they don't post regular pregnancy updates, bump pictures, etc.) PM me if you'd like to join and I can get you added. :)

Aw bummer! :/ well at least you are feeling Ok with AF arriving- I do think it helps to have a plan of action for going forward. And 2nd opinions are never a bad thing! Sometimes one doctor sees something that the first one never even thought of!

I messaged you about the FB group :)

I am fully expecting AF to show up in the next day or 2 also- and I as much as I am bummed, I am also OK because I hav my prescription for the 100mg clomid, I picked up a B50 complex (I figured o would start with 50 and go from there), and a new digital OPK kit today/ I am ready haha. I asked the pharmacy if they had over the counter progesterone creams and they said no :/ I guess I need to inquire about a prescription for that also ugh.

You can get progesterone cream from Amazon, but the dosage is hard. Make sure you're getting bioidentical progesterone cream- I think it's called emerita. The dosing on there is for help with hormone replacement, so I read midwives recommend using 4x as much as on the package. You can't dose just by mg because you absorb it differently through the skin than you do in pill form. It's hard to use THAT much lotion- it just doesn't rub in! It's about $25 per tube and if you're using more, it may only last one LP. So basically it's available, but prescription is probably the best way to go about supplementing there.

If you are doing b vitimins for your LP, start with 50 mg of B6 plus some b12 which is required for absorption. :)

Thanks for the info on the cream! I will have to look into that, but more than likely I will ask my RE about it and ask if I can get a prescription. The B50 complex vitamin looks like it has 50mg of b6 and 50mg of b12...so as soon as my next cycle starts I will start those along with my prenatal and fish oil.

MrsK; OMG!! You're not crazy!!!!! My first tests looked EXACTLY like yours!!! Go get a FRER ASAP! I'm so excited for you, chick!
