Sue - Yes its been quite a journey for me and its confusing to not know what it is. We are quite prepared for IVF after DH's 1st SA (87% of his sperm had defragmented DNA that gave us 10% chance of ever conceving). Then, the RE ordered 2nd SA to make the final treatment plan. Turned out DNA issue had magically resolved itself and DH scored normal on all parameters. That was 6 cycles ago. Why aren't we pregnant yet? We don't know
Sunshine - Pleased to meet you. Looks like we have a similar ttc profile and I might soon join you on IVF journey. Though tightly crossing everything that this is it for you and you get your well deserved bfp next week... Praying for you
How was your IUI experience? Our RE initially wanted to try 3 IUIs before moving to IVF. But, it took us four months to get to IUI#2. The month after first failed IUI was cancelled as CD3 US showed 2x 20mm+ on my ovaries (likely a side effect of ovitrelle shot). The cycle after was cancelled because I ovulated too early (CD10), before they could even give me ovitrelle. Seeing our desperation, he is willing to skip IUI#3 and go straight to IVF.
