Tired

Postby alinat » Sun Jul 03, 2011 6:15 pm

It's been two years of actively TTC with blood tests, sperm tests, vitamins, diet change, ultrasounds, temp taking and surgery all to be told there is nothing wrong with me or DH. I think I have finally come to the conclusion that it may never happen and maybe its time to pack it in. This site has been great and has helped a lot. I guess I just needed to vent and make this statement for my own benefit. Good luck to everyone and I hope you all get your BFPs soon.

Well maybe you will be one of the lucky one's that get's pregnant when they quit trying. I know a girl that tried for years and started the adoption process and is now pregnant with a baby girl. FX that you will still get your BFP!

To be honest ladies I know so many ladies who give up trying for even 1 month and the next they are preggers. Sometimes the body needs to reset itself and be away from all the drugs and what not and then BAM preggers. If this IUI didn't work for us we are going to give up for 1 or 2 months depending on how we feel. Let my body reset from all the shots and hormones. Then see what will happen :)

FX to everyone and much baby dust. We choose a certain path and everything happens for a reason at the right time for everyone. Keep your head up and miracles will start to begin.

My DH and I were trying for 2 1/2 years with the same diagnosis - unexplained infertility. I didn't want to go through treatment because I didn't see how it would help if there was "nothing wrong with us," according to the docs, but we did it anyway. Boy am I glad that I listened to my husband when I was just so tired of it, because now I'm 11 weeks pregnant with our first baby (first pregnancy too). We ended up doing two months of Clomid, which did nothing except made 2 eggs instead of my normal one. The third month, we did Clomid and our first IUI (on 7/1/11) and that was the ticket! I still don't know why, but hey, I'll take it. Hang in there - I really wanted to hang it up too, but we went onto an IUI and that worked. I was also getting sick of the meds because they make you cranky and I gained some weight, so yeah, I hear ya. Good luck and you are not alone!
