ttc almost 11 years

Postby flapjack1027 » Thu Apr 25, 2013 8:35 am

Hi everyone I'm new here. I am 31. My DH and I have never used birth control since our marriage in 2001 and have been actively ttc since about 6 months later.
We have one adopted daughter who is 6 and she is our world.
These days I am only half heartedly ttc, in 10+ years there isn't much I haven't tried. I had laproscopic surgery back in 2004 and everything checked out fine. DH's SA also checked out normal. I tried several rounds of Femara with no luck. I have tried herbal supplements, vitamins ... you name it.

This month I had the flu for the first time in my life, kept me down 5 days!In fact, I rarely ever get sick at all. Apparently having the flu has delayed my Ov. almost a week which will also be a first for me. I have always had very regular 28-30 day cycles. Judging by cm and O pain I believe I am/will ovulate today. FX'd that this month will be different.

Even after 10+years the tww is still torture.

Hello,
We're on the same boat. I've been TTC sice marriage 02/2003 with 3 ectopics and 1 miscarriage. Will go under laparoscopic surgery in 2 weeks. I've also tried everthing except IVF but nothing as of yet, all 4 times I've been pregnant was without any treatment. Till 2 months ago, it was very hard for us to adopt because our house was a fixer upper and we didn't have all that money to fix it and make it suitable for the agencies, I also worked for the county so couldn't adopt through them. Now, we moved to texas and will be TTC aggressively while looking at adoption agencies too.
I really wish US the best!

good luck! We adopted through the state foster care program in Florida. It was a long battle but worth it all in the end. Hope you get your BFP soon!

8 years here and only just started charting so I've opened Pandora's box on myself I think. Starting to get my hopes up again, which is probably not such a good idea, since in 8 years all I've had is one chemical preg.
