I've been stalking this board for months and months, but I am just now posting because I have a couple of concerns. I am on cycle #15 with not so much as even a chemical pregnancy so far. My cycles are crazy and can range anywhere from 30-60 days. DH semen analysis normal. My OB has run a couple of tests (confirmed I was ovulating, tested hormone levels, ect) which all came back normal, so my insurance wont cover anything else right now. Has anyone else tried for over a year and absolutely nothing be wrong with them, it's just their body taking it's time?

Ttc baby - my initial diagnosis was also unexplained infertility. However, my new RE diagnosed me w pcos, endo, and uterine polyps. Perhaps u could try for a second opinion? For pcos, my doc put me on metformin, which was covered by insurance (I think because it's traditionally prescribed for diabetics). Best of luck to u! I've learned u have to be your own advocate!

Yup, me. I'm clinging on to 38 (my birthday next month!) and my husband is 49. I suppose we're late starters.

We've been trying for about sixteen cycles now, and nothing. Not even a sniff. I've had the day 3 and day 21 hormone tests, a pelvic ultrasound and HSG - all perfectly normal. Husband's semen analysis was also normal.

I'm charting, so I know when I'm ovulating, and I know that we're Doing It when we should be. I stupidly allow myself to build up hope during the 2ww, and then I get my period and I feel absolutely crushed. I find it so hard to keep going.

In a way, it might be easier to cope with if there WERE something wrong! At least then I'd have something to blame. But this mystery of why it just isn't happening is so frustrating.
