How many of you had implantation spotting without getting a BFP?

I had a 5-10dpo spotting but still got AF

Implantation spotting -guarantee of pregnancy?or only maybe?

Postby wantlittlecowboy » Sun Jul 20, 2008 1:51 pm

I have been trying for about 3 years and this cycle I had a spot in my panties at 5-6dpo. I know this could be implantation spotting and I'm getting very excited about the prospect. My question is..... Is this spotting at day 5 a guarantee? Or is it something else?? I got a small dip in my temps the following morning, but I don't want to get too hopeful after all this trying and trying for so long... getting my hopes up and crying every month when AF comes.

I'm in the same boat. I had EWCM with some blood in it when I wiped on 5 or 6 DPO. I am now 16 DPO and still getting BFN, but no sign of AF. My cycle is generally anywhere from 28 to 32 days (today is day 32).
I'm getting very antsy and just want either a BFP or AF to finally show up.
The only other symptoms I had this month were some cramping and a lack of pain in my bb's. Usually they kill from O day until AF.
I'll keep you posted.

nothing is ever a guarantee, but if you don't ordinarily spot mid-cycle and you did this time, i'd say that's a promising sign! your chart looks great by the way!!

so sorry to hear about your earlier loss

I guess I knew that nothing is a guarantee, I'm just looking for a guarantee... if that makes any sense. I want to get rid of the tww. :)
I want to know.
