8-9 DPO and no "ah ha!" Symptoms (w/ update)

Postby WhitSS » Mon Feb 20, 2017 2:30 pm

Ok. So I'm between 8-9 dpo and just haven't had any of these symptoms I keep hearing about. I can say that my bbt is significantly elevated still and my cervix is high and firm, but I've been told this doesn't really mean anything yet. Other than that, I've had a weird feeling in my stomach for about 5 days now. Again, it seems more like something I could hopefully point to as a sign in retrospect after getting a bfp, but right now it could be caused by any number of things and I could be reading into it. So, anyone get a bfp or hear of a bfp with this kind of situation? Looking for some hope for this month!! Haha. Thank you for reading!

I just got my bfp today at 11 dpo, and aside from some AF type cramping this morning for a few hours, I've felt pretty much normal for the past 3 or 4 days. I did have some pains around implantation time, but the main reason I thought I was pregnant is my chart was looking good. It was this way with my last pregnancy, too. If you look at my chart, I have lots of symptoms listed, but honestly I just marked them down if they happened at all, so like tender breasts I marked if at any point in the day, I noticed they were uncomfortable, even for just a few moments. They never actually hurt and weren't aching all day. So I really didn't have any "ah ha" signs either!

Thanks for the hope, BeeCee! I tested this morning (10 dpo based on OPK and 11 dpo based on chart) but got BFN. My temp had a HUGE spike this morning, though. My coverline is 97. Using chart ovulation date, my temp dipped to coverline between 5-8 dpo and then started climbing again (97.2 on 9 dpo, 97.4 on 10 dpo) and this morning it was 97.8. AF is due in 3 days. I'm thinking I'll try (TRY being the operative word haha) to hold off on testing again until then.

That sounds really promising. Fingers crossed you get that BFP!

Ok. So I'm 14 dpo now according to chart. Bfn this morning on frer. Kind of gutted about it. However, my temps are still elevated about .7-.8 above my coverline. AF is due tomorrow. I've been feeling intense mid to upper abdominal discomfort since last night. (not in the uterine area where my usual af cramps are felt). I also have been feeling waves of mild nausea for s few days. Idk. I'm probably out. But can ya blame a girl for holding out for hope? Haha
Here's my chart. The big dotted line area at the end of my fertile window are discarded temps due to fever. Then my temp plummets as I get better. Then goes back up.

Does your temp usually drop the day of AF or the day before? Your chart is still looking great as of now. I think it's always good to have hope! I had a lot of discomfort right after my bfp... Lots of gas pains and feeling bloated. Fingers crossed for you!

Af showed up this morning. Temp dropped a little but still .4 above coverline. Usually I'd drop below the day before or at least close. I think the flu this month must have just thrown everything out of wack. A bit down in the dumps since everything seemed different this month. Thought this would be it. Oh well. Let's get this next cycle cracking.
