BFP and sharp pains

Postby ChloeLoyal » Wed Sep 20, 2017 9:10 pm

I'm 15/16 dpo and recently got a BFP. Today I'm noticing that any sudden movement when I go from sitting to standing quickly, I get sharp shooting pains in my ovary area. It happens on both sides depending on how I get up. Is this normal for early pregnancy?
I'm also still noticing AF like cramps every so often throughout the day. Is that a bad sign?

I don’t know about treatment. If your suppose to have the baby you will but if it’s not meant to be this early on. It’s because there are abnormal cells which is called a chemical pregnancy. You should be thankful that your body doesnt try to creat just any random cells.. I had a miscarriage on week 6 a year ago and it was like that at felt like it was gonna starting day and it was crampy my boobs didn’t really hurt or anything. However, this time I do feel pretty preg. I’m 4 weeks and it doesn’t feel the same. However, all pregnacies are different and some feel pain some don’t right away. I would contact your doctor if you get spotting and have your blood work done. Make sure the Hcg is doubling :)

Cramping can be normal in early pregnancy - there are lots of things going on including a new organ growing into your uterus. I also had a few pains in my ovary at the beginning which had me googling like crazy. It might be the one that released the egg and you have a small cyst or something with the corpus luteum. Don't panic unless you have severe bleeding. I had spotting for a couple of weeks and everything was fine, but I had another pregnancy where the spotting and cramps got worse and I lost that one. Try to relax! I know it is hard.

Later in my pregnancy I got cramping for three days straight but no bleeding. It felt like my period and I was freaking out. But so far that has went away and I just have sore boobies.. I feel like the calm before the storm...
