I got to CD37 (I think - could have been CD36 or 38...) of a pretty regular 28.
I was actually waiting for AF so we could have a scan at the IVF centre.
But it was over xmas-time, and I forgot to write my dates down, so though I knew I was late, I wasn't sure how late.
I didn't do a HPT at first. I had an OPK and did that, mainly just for fun/out of boredom. It was really strong positive.
So I thought maybe I was finally ovulating by myself, just stupidly late, and that's why my cycle was so long that month.
But some people online said I should do a HPT...
Ridiculously strong positive. Now I'm coming up on six months tomorrow!
To be honest, I feel daft for all the times I've squinted at tests over the years, willing that faint line into existence. When it finally happened, at over a week late, it was unmistakable
Good luck and hope you get your BFP
