I am going to start WW online soon. I have a vacation planned this week. Are there any WW members that want to start a buddy group? I have about 30 to 35 pounds to lose.

Stupid me lost the baby weight and then gained it back due to quitting my job to stay home with my son. I have to do something to take care of myself and soon! :D

I know that we sort of discussed this (our mutual goal to lose weight) on our other board but I didn't even consider joining WW online with you. I'm going to look into it this evening to see how much, if anything, it costs to join online. If it is free or reasonable, I will definitely join you! You've been such a strong support and encouragement to me, I'm sure we can keep each other encouraged with weight loss as well. What do you say? :D

Bailey...you are so sweet!

I am going to rejoin for three months I think...they were very good with cancelling.I did it online and there was no fuss or confusion.

A diet buddy would help to keep me honest and it might be more fun that way. Take a look and regardless if you join or not, let's be buddies! We can post on the other thread...and help each other.

We can lose weight together, possible get pregnant together and then help you pass your bar exam!

I am in Bailey! I will be back on Saturday night!

Thanks! You joining me with the Battle of the Bulge certainly helps. I can't do this alone! Did you decide to do WW or just watch carefully yourself? Let's pick the same day to weight in each week. Which day do you prefer?

Hi Bailey,

I guess we can continue to post under the 30 pound crew thread and then see how it goes. I am going to do this...I have no choice really.

So...let's pick a day to weight in and record our weekly weights. I used to have Monday but I am up to any day you think might work for you.

I will also post each day stating how I did, what I ate etc. Exercise is very important and I will post that as well.

So...Bailey...do you want to stay here, join the thread in progress or start a new one?

Hey, Christie! Sorry I wasn't around this weekend. My laptop was (and still is) down and I didn't have a chance to get to the library to access the public ones.

It's up to you...we can continue to post here and see if we have any other takers or we can post in the other thread. Just let me know.

I know that this is such a bad habit but I tend to weigh myself every day. We can definitely use Mondays as our "official" weigh in day and record/report our progress to each other (either here or on the other thread - just let me know). I weighed in this morning at 214 pounds (YIKES!!!)

This weekend I was so bad because I knew that I was starting a weight loss plan today...so, I had everything a milkshake, Mexican food one night, hot wings another night with potato wedges topped w/cheese. Now, it's on to healthy eating, working out and staying focused.

I am not joining WW online right now. I will have to closely monitor myself. I know that it'll take a lot of discipline but I can do it. I'm hoping to be able to join towards the end of August...it just isn't in our budget right now.

Also, we didn't switch gyms. We're still at Bally's. I like Bally's but sometimes their hours are not very convenient (which is why I wanted to switch to Lifetime, which is a 24/7 facility). Lifetime offers very convenient hours (because it never closes and DH and I can go when we want) but that luxury and the fact that it is an EXTREMELY nice facility makes it a bit pricey. So, this too is not in our budget right now. We're going to explore the idea of changing from Bally's to Lifetime in late August. For now though, Bally's it is.

Okay. So here goes...

Monday, July 28th:

Weigh in: 214 lbs. (I always weigh in first thing in the morning after fmu).

Goal weight: 145-150 lbs. (I know it's a lot (to lose nearly 70 pounds) and I know it won't happen overnight)

Breakfast: glass of water, small green apple w/peanut butter and dry wheat toast

Lunch: I'll come back and fill in later.

Dinner: I'll fill in later

Snacks: If any, I'll fill in later.

Exercise: I'm going after work and will fill in later. My goal is to do what I did before to lose the weight...work out 5-6 times a week for 45 minutes to an hour each time, including cardio in each workout and alternating between strength training/toning upper body, lower body and abdomen.
