Yeah, I really don't care about how much I weigh, just what size I am. BUT! That doesn't mean you ladies shouldn't be proud of how much you lost!!!! Do technically want to lose weight, but that's just me making better eating choices (not eating carbs every meal, snacking on fruits and whole grain snacks, increasing my fiber intake, putting the fork down)

it was amazing yesterday because I have been feeling a little depressed lately, but after I worked out, I felt great! Its nice to break the cycle (i.e. I feel bad because I have gained weight, which makes me want to eat and gain weight) finally. I find, for me personally, when I actually do that, its easier to make better choices.

Rainbowbrite Ah Legoland. My friend was just here from Arizona to bring her kids there. We will probably getting stationed in Japan in Sept, so I am trying to soak in as much of So. Cal as I can!

Hope2B AH! You will have to tell me how your hubby does with the workout!! When I was really sore last time I stuck to it, I found that walking around to block before I worked out really helped me. It warmed up my body and stretched a little better than the video.

He barely made it, hahaha. He lifts weights regularly but he's not used to that type of workout. His thighs were pretty sore this morning. He thought it was just a girly excersise but now he knows it's actually quite a workout.

I can't believe it's finally nice enough to ride our bikes. I'm so excited!

I think I took too long of a break. I'm starting again at level one for this week and I’m going to do it every day until my legs feel better and then go back to level two.

Rainbow, that dog scares me, lol.

:hi: ladies!!!!

I did day 4 of my 30 day shred!! (I'm taking weekends off, I know that will always be the norm for me). I actually couldn't wait to workout this morning. I didn't eat bad or anything over the weekend, I just really enjoyed the extra energy it gives me!

Hope2Be How are you doing? Did your DH try it again with you??

Rainbow are you back on it?

Yeah, DH tried it again, just humoring me I’m sure. He agrees that it's hard work but it's a little too fem for him, lol.
I was pretty bad this weekend. I worked out every day but I indulged a little too much, lol. It was so nice out we were all about the patios. That means beer, wine and pub food. Well, I know it doesn't have to, there are still healthy choices, but it felt so good at the time.

Hope I hear ya. We went to the movies and the to a beach bar Sunday. I had a kids meal at the movies (of which my DH was kind enough to eat half of!), few beers and a little pub food. I'm not doing this too strict because I want it to be a weekday thing. If it takes me a little longer to get "Shredded" so be it. I'm not cutting out cocktails and egg rolls on a Sunny So Cal afternoon!! LOL

The last time I tried this, that was the hardest part. If I broke any little thing, I got down and then fell off the workout wagon. I really trying to make exercise a regular thing for me so I'm really trying to be realistic. I hope it sticks!!!

I hear ya! I'm trying to make healthier choices without starving myself or trying to stick to a miserable diet. I've just been making healthier choices that still taste really good. So far we've been doing great so i'm not going to beat myself up for going a little over board now and then

Ok, I fell off the wagon, but i'm back on it this week. With mothers day and my birthday next weekend and May long weekend following (first big camping trip of the season) I think this will be a pretty slack month for the diet and excersize, lol, but i'll do he best I can. How are you ladies doing?

:hi: I'm doing good!! still sticking to my 5 day a week plan. I've been doing Level 1 forever and am going to jump to Level 2 tomorrow. I'm going to take it until I feel comfortable to go to level 3. I like to be able to do the whole workout with advanced moves before I move on.

I heaven't really been on the tww.com lately. I think I burnt myself out a little, so we took a month off TTC, but am going to try again this month.

For sure, welcome!
My suggestion would be to take your time with the levels. If you don't feel ready to move on to the next level then wait until you feel more compfortable. I was only going to do level 1 for a week before moving on to level 2, but I did another week and it made it a little easier. My endurance was higher and I really felt level 1 had gotten easy enough that I needed a harder workout. I didn't really want to move on to a harder level while I was still pretty sore.

Hi ladies, I have a question for you....I've done 8 days of 30 day shred over the last 3 weeks or so. I've been giving myself a day of rest in between and taking the weekends off. I am able to do way more now than I could at day one and I'm not sore after the workout anymore :D My question is, do you have a rest day in between workouts or do you do them on consecutive days? Don't you need to rest your muscles so they can "re-build" or is that just for major weight-training. I would like to do it more days/week because I am really starting to feel results. Thanks for your input.

I was the same way at first, i'm now doing it every AM before work and it's way better. I'm definatly getting results faster. Plus i'm less lazy about it. I find that when I take time off one day leads to two leads to three, lol. Before I know it i'm starting over. I need the structure, lol. I do give myself Sundays though. That's my only non workout day and that's my eat whatever I want day as well.
Anyway, if you feel you can do it, I say go for it!
