Anyone else got ALOT to loose?

Postby Corvina » Fri Apr 17, 2009 6:40 pm

*points at ticker* I've got a lot to go before i'm at a "healthy" weight. And for the first time in well years( I've been trying to loose weight since I was 15) I'm actually serious about loosing weight for my health, and so that when I do have a baby I can be active and such. But of course 11 months ago that wasnt enough for me. :( hubby was on a no active trying but no preventing thing, and I couldnt talk about it to much. But last month, he said we could try activly. At that moment I was the happiest i've been in a while, I've quit smoking and started working out and taking vitamins. I'm not eating right but hah like I ever will, I just eat what I like in moderation.

Workout wise I'm doing the 30 day shred, did 5 days in a row took a day off for easter and have been doing it every other day. (I got a little lazy.) I plan to return to every day starting well today lol.

Oh! I'm already seeing results too, not weight wise but feeling. I feel less tired, I can actually walk to the store and not get tired, and! The biggest feat for me was actually not taking as many breaks during the workout

Oops sorry for the long story I just meant to say a couple things but as usual I cant stop my fingers Haha.

So !!! Who else has a lot to loose? And how are you going about it and what motivates you to get up each day and do it?

I have a lot to lose as well. Id like to lose about 100 pounds. I was just trying to eat small healthy meals no snacks and work out on my elliptical. When I was in highschool my motivation(wich worked well) was cute outfits and pictures of tight bodies. I lost 65 pounds and was lookin good. Then I gained it all back and more in my mid twenties. Now my inspirations are cute baby outfits and preggo bellies that you can tell are preggo :) Unfortunately this TTc for two years has only added to the gain and everytime I get on track I get deoressed about something. Its so hard. Good luck to you though, looks like youre doing good! :D :D

I have a lot to lose as well. I was on Jenny Craig, and lost 15 lbs in a month on it but I couldnt justify the cost of the program...600$+/month was just insane, and they only want you to lose 1lb a week. 600$ for 4 lbs? Forget that.

I keep wanting to go back to Atkins, where I lost 40 lbs.......

Right now, I need to lose 100 lbs atleast. To get to where "they" say is a healthy weight for my height, I'm looking at 130+ But realistically I would be ok with 100.

Being so overweight, my pregnancy with DD was awful and so painful(I had carpal tunnel pre pregnancy and it made it so bad I couldn't hold a fork or brush my hair). I dont get pictures taken with my daughter because I hate the way I look and how fat I've become. Its horrible. Yet I choose to eat and be fat....

Anyways sorry for the long sob story. GL to u all.

I could lose 40 lbs and be back to a healtier weight....I'm just dciding to eat healthier and walk and do the best I can. If I lose while I do that great...but I'm tired of yo-yoing so I've decided to go SLOW this time around...

:) Well since I started therapy i've gotten more active. on monday to save some money I started biking the 3 miles there each day, and then 3 miles back. Its tiring but it'll help me loose weight, and help with my depression so its all good. ANND next month i'll be getting a gym membership, and if I can overcome my anxiety about working out in front of peopel i will use it. :)

Hi Corvina--how are you doing?

I have decided to try to move myself into the Aitken's Diet a bit more. I went grocery shopping yesterday and then decided today to start tomorrow. On the upside most of what I eat is Aitken similar I just have to get off the sugar/sweet stuff!

We'll see what goes on...since posting before I gained 10 lbs again because I thought I was pregnant so I stopped dieting! And poof 10lbs later!

Enough of that crap, apparently similar symptoms are given because I'm gaining weight! Crazy eh? I'm sick of that nonsense and like a few others have this image of a healthy slim body with a baby belly vs. what I saw in a friend of mine.

She was heavy set and I didn't realize she was pregnant til she was 6 months along! Bad eh? She didn't show til then because of her original size! She said it sucked! SO I want to be different as much as possible.

I'm UP for working together if you are?

Well take care, Jenn 8)
