Good job on resisting, Lara! What willpower!

AFM - Well after 5 days on Atkins, I went off of it! I couldn't handle such limited options any longer, lol. I didn't binge though. I ended up losing a little over 3lbs doing it, so that's good. I'm just going to watch my calorie intake now and try to fit in some exercise every day. I have found these Atkins shakes that I really like the taste of, and they are only 160 calories with lots of protein, so they fill you up. I'm going to drink at least one a day, and that cuts out at least one high-calorie meal!

Ashley and Kara - nice work!

I have no idea how much I weight because I REFUSE to even step foot on a scale LOL I'm so damn stubborn. But I think I'm close to 250, hopefully not more than that. How depressing!

Hi ladies, I'm glad to see you are all progressing so well.

I've been a bit MIA so sorry and hope you all remember me. I've lost 10 lbs since my first post but last week lost my way big time. My washer broke and we've been shopping for that and preparing for Thanksgiving and celebrating my neices B-day.

I plan on getting back on track this week, except I'm going off plan for Thanksgiving day. I was going to try and count calories and be good that day, but I know I would not do well then I'd feel bad so I'll just be on plan before and after.

Wish me luck staying on plan. Reading everyone's post has definatly inspired me to get back and stay on plan-Thanks everyone!

Hi ladies :hi:

Mind if I join your group?

DH and I are still TTC #1. I was almost 6 weeks pregnant when I miscarried last Saturday. It's been a tough week, but we're making it through one day at a time.

We've also decided that even though the doctor says we can try again after 1 normal cycle that we both wanted to be healthier next time around. I have about 30-40 pounds I'm trying to lose. I can't believe I've gained that much since HS. Hopefully joining a support group like this will help!! :)

Hope everyone has a good weekend!!

Aidica ten pounds thats great!
Mrssheldon I'm sorry about your loss.Thats all you can do is take things one day at a time. You are more than welcome to join us!
I have been really lazy here lately and havent done much exercising and so the weight loss is at a huge stand still. I seriously think I am gonna stop getting on the scale and maybe limit that to once a week or once a month or so. I just hate seeing those numbers!
Hi everyone else! I hope yall are doing better than me...I have seriously fell off the wagon here lately!

LaraE- I'm glad I'm not the only one going to indulge slight on turkey day.

Mrs.J- Welcome aboard! I'm so sorry about your loss.

Maddy- I feel ya on how tough it is to stay on track with the exercise. I really feel if I could kick up the exercise I could really be seeing result. I guess I'm lacking motivation there, so I'll just keep trying to eat healthy.

I have to go to a baptizm and brunch today. I'm nervous because I'm not sure what's on the menu. I hope there is a veggie tray so I can fill up mostly on that. If not, I'll just do the best I can with what is served.

Hello to everyone else, I hope your weekend is going well.

Ughhhhh I just started doing the online food diary at fitday.com and I am shocked! My calories are low, like around 1200, but my fat is through the freaking roof. Like so high I am embarrassed to admit to it!   So I've now got a new plan of action. Cut out ALL dairy and fat and see if that will jump start this weight loss. I was just talking to DH about this. He was saying I dont eat that much and I should be losing weight but I'm not. Now I know!! Ughhh stupid fat. Did I mention I love diary?

Maddy, let me know how you like fitday. I have so many friends who have used it (mostly bodybuilders and fitness competitors since they have to be so strict with macronutrients). My BF uses a bodybugg and he loves it. He wants to buy me one but I just don't know LOL

Maddy, Is fit day hard to use? I use spark people right now and it's pretty easy.

LaraE- I would love the body bug, they are just still a little pricy for me right now.

Yeah, spark people is free and pretty easy to use. The body bug is what they use on biggest loser. You wear it on your body then use a computer program with it and it basically downloads cals burnt and you put in food etc. It's pretty darn cool!

Hi everyone! :hi: I am wondering if my new supplements I have been taking are supressing my appetite. I really am not getting any cravings to eat for no reason. I am keeping my calories at around 1200 and honestly could might restrict them more but I didnt want to get crazy about it. I hope yall are all doing okay! :D
