These sound good:

Description
These super-cute phyllo cups are brimming with nutrient-dense, fiber-rich berries. Tip: You can make phyllo cups a day ahead. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Fill them with fruit just before serving.

Ingredients
Nonstick cooking spray
4 sheets frozen whole-wheat phyllo dough, thawed
1 Tablespoon granular sugar substitute, divided
Fresh raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, or chopped strawberries
Fat-free nondairy whipped topping

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly coat a nonstick muffin tin with cooking spray.

2. Place 1 sheet phyllo dough on a clean, dry counter; lightly coat with cooking spray. Sprinkle lightly with sugar substitute. Place another sheet of phyllo on top, coat with cooking spray, and sprinkle with sugar substitute. Repeat with 2 remaining sheets of phyllo. Cut stack into 6 pieces. Gently press each piece into a muffin cup. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until just golden brown. Let cool.

3. Fill phyllo cups with desired berries and garnish with whipped topping (about 1 teaspoon per cup).

Hi girls!
I'm gonna jump in here with you. This is how we'll lose the weight, by talking about it, and having some accountability.

I am trying to lose 20 lbs while TTC. wow I always heard people say it gets harder to lose weight as you get older...THEY WERE RIGHT.

I am 5'9" and 166. I am not obese, but on the borderline for my healthy weight chart. I believe everyone has a weight where they feel most comfortable. For me that will be 20 lbs lighter!!!

I have had a sedentary job for 5 years, and slowly put on the 20lbs. How about you guys?

Mennie, Where are you in Florida?--I'm in Port St Lucie.

Hi. Mennie I haven't tried them yet but I will. I have to remember to get the dough. How goes your efforts?

BlueSkye

I'm 5'6& weigh almost as much as you do so don't feel bad at all! I went on vacation & got a fatter :( . Now I need to lose 30 instead of 25).

This week I am trying to plan out a bunch of meals so I don't get stuck starving & grab the first thing I can get my hands on or eat out. School starts for me next week & I'm going to try to pack my lunch. I've found that sandwiches make me gain so I'm looking for alternative.

I've stocked up on almonds which help control blood sugar and lower bad cholesterol. I've just made chicken soup. It seems to help also but I don't know why. Cooking & picking the chickens is a big pain in the butt but I got 7 quarts from 1 chicken and it's way better than the canned stuff. Now I just throw veggies in it when I'm ready to use it.

I looked at the South Beach diet & I don't think I can stick to it. :( Blueskye, do you have a plan?

Hi Ladies!

Glad to see some activity on this thread!

Welcome BlueSkye!!!! I'm in the Orlando area... so you're not too far from me! 20 lbs off would be my goal, but I'd be happy with even just getting 15 off... I just don't want to delay ttc in the process, time is definitely a factor imo when you get into your 30's!

Hi Stephieh! How have things been going for you????

With the mini summer trips and company in and out of the house, I definitely have not kept as strict of a diet & exercise regiment as I had planned to in order to get the weight off! I know my big weakness is sugary carbs, so that is what I plan to work on cutting down on this week along with increasing my cardio time! Unfortunately the carb withdrawal does make me cranky! :x So I will not be a happy camper over the next few days... Thank God, DH is going out of town on business!

Do you all have a time frame for your weight loss?

Are you both still actively ttc while losing?

Do you exercise when in the 2ww?

Hope we can keep this little support group going! The more accountability the better! I plan to work on my lower body (weights) and 45 minutes of cardio on Tuesday... Someone please keep me accountable!!!!!

Hi Mennie, I'm down about a pound and considering I was on vacation a week that's not too bad. I've been eating a couple of handfuls of almonds a day and trying to cut back on sugar. Today is tuesday so you should report your 45 minutes of cardio & lower body work out at the end of the day :) accountability is a good thing.

I am going to the gym tonight if it kills me. I went yesterday.

I'm going to take my lunch today so I won't eat out again. Heck--it's almost lunch time now & I haven't eaten breakfast yet. I suck at time management.

Hey Steph and Mennie, I wasn't getting notifications of replies to this thread, so I am happy to see you wrote back!
OK !!! I've been to the gym 2 days in a row now. How about you?!?!?
You told me to ask!
I used to do the elliptical (bad knees) for 45 min, but last week I decided I am SO tired of being chubby, that something's got to change. I started running a little on the treadmill, just to boost this weight loss!!! I could only run for 4 minutes. Well this week, I'm proud to say (try not to laugh) I can run for ten minutes!!!! In 45 minutes I walk till it feels right then I run till things start feeling uncomfortable.
Mennie: Since starting fertility treatments, I have not been able to do much in the TWW. My symptoms were just too strong from the fertility drugs. My abdomen was extremely sensitive!!
stephie: I'm convinced it's all about the sugar! I can't do diets, I'm just really against them. It's a lifestyle change I need. I read the first half of South Beach Diet book though, and it all made sense to me. The principles of that book make good nutritional sense. I do believe that my body chemistry is screwed up by sugar intake. So I too have decided to really cut back. There is sugar in everything! High Fructose corn syrup is even in bread that is whole wheat marketed to look healthy.

Since we all want to lose 20 lbs, How do you guys feel about weekly weigh ins? And we can all report to each other? :D :D :D

Hello My Work-Out Friends!

I also haven't gotten any notifications that there were any posts to this thread, so I haven't checked anything out over here lately!

I know it's been over a week ago that I asked for the accountability of the Tuesday workout.. But I did make it in last Tuesday! I did lower body and 50 minute of cardio... I did 40 minutes on the elliptical and I thought I was going to faint! But thank God I made it through! Also went back the next day for 45 minutes of cardio (just on the bike that time - lol)!

I agree with you both, I think sugar is the culprit and I know the major weakness for me! I started cutting down tremendously on the sugar and carbs this week and my body is totally rebelling! I have not been a happy camper at all!!!!!! I know once I push through the "withdrawals", I will be fine, it's just making through the first 3 to 4 days that is really hard!!!!!

I am in the 2ww now, but I have read that keeping up with some form of exercise is good and actually will increase blood flow which could help with implantation??? I plan to do lite cardio this evening.... I need to get the pounds of regardless!!!!

StephieH: GREAT.. Glad to hear about your pound and 1/2 off! Have you been able to keep making it to the gym? Do you have a goal set for how many times a week you want to go in? Thanks for keeping me accountable!

BlueSkye!: Congrats on making it up to 10 minutes running on the treadmill... I am impressed! Good for you!!!! I am slightly clueless on some of the fertility drugs... Are you still on them???? If you don't mind me asking, what do the drugs you take help with?

Looking forward to some good reports on workouts and weight loss from all of us!

Happy Sweating!

I think a weekly report on exercise and weight loss would be a great thing!

Dang. I'm not getting the notices either. weekly weigh-ins sound like a good idea since I'm getting fatter instead of thinner. I went down & then back up. I just ate a chicken cutlet sub with sharp provolone & broccoli rabe. It was tasty but definitely not healthy. I have managed to cut back on sugar but not enough & for the first time ever my arms seem to be getting fatter. Aging sucks.

Running 10 minutes under any circumstances is impressive

Good work making it to hte gym.

I made it twice last week and only once this week so far but there's two days left. I'm going to add in some walks as it gets cooler.

I am at 162 right now. Next week I should be at 160. I'm in the tww right now to. 4dpo today.

Good luck this holiday weekend--glad to your posts.

Stephie: I will be with you in thoughts on the workout this evening... I plan to leave for the gym in the next 10 minutes!

What about a Friday weigh-in? Fridays would be good for me, if I messed up over the weekend  , I could try to work extra hard thru Friday! (lol)...

Wow, we're in exactly the same place in the 2ww! Were you trying or breaking this month?

Also, I just checked the boards and it looks like BlueSkye started a 20 lb weight loss thread... Wanna join over there????

I need to lose about 67 lbs. I've been on the GI diet for about two weeks and lost a total of 3 lbs so far. I have been ttc since June of this year. I was hoping I would get a BFP this month but no such luck, maybe next month.

Hello All
My husband and I have been TTC for almost a year. My long irregular cycles don't help any either. I just finished my first round of Clomid. On top of all that, I am overweight. I need/want to lose about 100 lbs. I don't know how bad this is effecting me TTC either. Hopefully, it won't. But then I wonder how will it effect me if I do get pregnant. I wouldn't want to do anything to jepordize my baby. I am on weight watchers right now. I just started yesterday.
