I was still 195 this past Monday after a week of AF, visitors for 5 days, and my birthday dinner (isn't it a law that you have to eat Mexican food on Cinco de Mayo? Well, it should be! lol).

I worked hard this week so if I'm not down at least a pound come Monday, I may have to throw a fit!

Annette ~ It’s awesome that you were able to maintain with visitors for 5 days & your birthday! And I’m so with you about working hard on your diet and if you aren’t down, throwing a fit!

Flutter ~ Congrats! 4 pounds in one week! Amazing! What do you think helped you lose the 4 pounds the most?

Yesterday I was down to 170.0. :D

I really thought that since I was heavier than I had ever been that the weight would come off (at least a little) faster, but I was wrong. I thought I was guaranteed 2 pounds a week for a few weeks if I stuck to my points. Again, I was wrong! Kinda like how I was wrong that you just stop taking bcps and then you are pregnant. Lol.

JenniferLynn--Have you been taking the oil and milk like WW says to? I noticed that doing those two things everyday made all the difference. Of course you have to count the points for them, but you can always dip into the 35 extra. Besides you can earn 2 points with 30 min of walking so that could cover some of those points.

Hope that helps a little.

Congrats everyone on the losses!!!

I jumped on the scale today for the heck of it - 192!! :D My official weigh-in day isn't until Monday so I'll wait and see if I'm still that weight in 36ish hours.

Annette ~ :jump: I hope the results are the same or less tomorrow morning!

Jen ~ WW and oil and milk? Huh? I have to go look at their website ... where does it say this? How much of each should you have! I need help! Thank you so much for letting me know about this!

Oh, it is one of the 'rules' when you go to the meetings. 2 teaspoons of healthy oil, like olive oil or sunflower oil and 2 servings of skim milk, 16 oz.

The milk is easy, I just drink a big glass full, and I use the oil to make salad dressing, or I just drizzle it on my veggies at dinner. It's not too bad. Some ladies at the meetings take it like medicine, straight from the spoon. GAG!

Here are the 8 Good Health Guidelines ...straight from the week 1 book you get at WW!

1. - Eat at least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.

2. - Choose whole grain foods whenever possible.

3. - Include 2 servings of milk products each day.

4.- Drink at least 6 glasses of water each day.

5. - Have some (2 tsp) healthy oil each day.

6. - Make sure you get enough protein.

7. - Limit added sugar and alcohol.

8. - Take a multi-vitamin supplement each day.

I couldn't find the info exactly like this on the website, but I'm sure it is there somewhere. I don't use the website like I should.

Hope that helps!

Is anyone testing soon? I'm holding out until Thurs.

Wow - necking oil? That's hardcore! The milk I'd manage, but 2 tsp of oil? That'd be me out! How's everyone doing today? I had a bad weekend, so I think my loss might be 'stuck' at 4lb this week - not that I'm unhappy with that! Anyone else?

Woo, it's official! 40 pounds lost, it feels great! I was also able to comfortably wear a pair of size 14 jeans today (my usual pair was 18 ).

Jen ~ Thanks for all the info! I went to a bunch of meetings last year, when I lost 15 pounds. I should pull out all my little booklets! Thanks again!

Annette ~ Woohoo on the 40 pounds lost! That’s amazing! Great job!

As for me, I'm frustrated. On Friday I weight 170.0. I wasn't able to weight myself again until today, but I did follow my points. Well, today I was 170.4. :( This is what makes dieting very hard for me. Because if I'm gaining weight anyway, why not just eat whatever I want & be happy (can you tell I'm a stress eater, lol). Ya know? Sorry to be down! But, I just had to get that out to some girls who might understand.

Could be water weight. I wouldnt stress too much about it. Here's what I do....I weigh every day, just to monitor. But I have my "official" WI only once a week. Your weight will naturally flucuate a bit every day. As long as it doesnt stay up, you have nothing to worry about.

170 is nothing to sneeze at anyway. I have been trying to get to 170 for a long time. Be proud of your losses to this point and try not to sweat the small stuff.

BTW I had a 1.2 loss on Tues at the meeting. I am on my way to my 1st goal of 10 lb loss. I can't believe it is taking so long......I guess life gets in the way sometimes.

Congrats to all our "losers" and keep up the great work!!!

Jen ~ You are funny! Lol! I guess I never thought of it that way ... we all want to be "losers!" Lol!

Thank you for making me feel better about maintaining. I decided not to weigh myself today. It's a great idea to weigh yourself everyday, but have once a week that is your "official" weigh-in day.

Congrats on your 1.2 loss! Woohoo! Way to go!
