Thanks Jen - well I did it, and the results were not good - I've put on 11lb - how stupid am I....? :cry: That'll serve me right!

Well, I weighed this morning, and despite my junk-food kick this past week, I am still on track... I was 143.6 this morning! *Phew!* I'm glad too... I felt like I had gained 5 pounds this last week LOL It's weird, now that I have been eating healthier, junk food literally makes me feel sick, and I used to eat it ALL THE TIME, and never felt like that! Makes me wonder what harm it does to my body when I indulge so much :shock:

Well, I weighed this morning and it was 140.6!!! I think my scale must be wrong though, cuz I don't get how I could have lost 3 pounds... I haven't done anything.... Oh well, I'm not complaining ;)

Good for you! weight loss by accident, bring it on!!!

I changed to the core plan on WW and I feel free! This plan is totally doable. I hope the scale agrees!

I went on vacation last weekend, and boy, did that ruin my weight! Back up a few pounds... It's okay, I hope that it will come off easy.

So I was down to 186 - then jumped back up to 189 after a super bad week (lol), then down again to 188 this past Monday. I'm hoping to see 186 again this coming Monday but we'll see!

Phew, a week and a half later I've lost 4 of the 11lbs - still kicking myself though! Congrats everyone else though - good work!

I'm down 3 pounds since last Monday which puts me at 47 pounds lost and 45 pounds to go!! It's nice to finally see my Lost number higher than my To Lose number!

Hi, I want to join the group!! DH and I aren't actively ttc right now because I want some time to lose a little weight before getting pg. I started trying a couple of months ago and started out at 187. I'm now 184.5 (after a vacation that threw me off and a major setback after a family crisis). I'm glad there's other women here trying to lose, and hopefully you guys can gelp me stay motivated!

I joined the gym Contours here in town and I've been going every day after work and doing their 30 minute circuit training workout. I'm trying to get a good diet going, but my husband likes junk food and makes it difficult to stick with eating healthy.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Hey girls, can I join? :)

I'm 27 & DH & I have been TTC for around 9 months. DH just got his S/A results back a couple of weeks ago & they were not too good, so we're working on figuring that out. I'm approx. 100lbs overweight...I gained it gradually since graduating from high school, but I've never been a super svelte girl, hehe.

I've made a decision to take back my life...& this year is IT for me. I have to lose this weight, for my sanity, quality of life...just to feel good about myself again. I'm sick of making excuses. On July 3rd our local YM/YWCA is opening directly across the street from me...a 3 minute walk. I'm going to join this week before they open, have purchased new sneakers & work out clothes...I HAVE to do this, hehe. & if it helps along the TTC process, even better.

Wondering if you have any tips for what workouts/machines are best for losing weight & toning up at the same time? I want rapid weight loss, of course, but not so quick as we all know that can make it harder to keep off & isn't so healthy. I'm thinking of going for an hour, 5 times a week & using the treadmill, bike, stairclimber & weight machines. Any advice?

Can't wait to get this show on the road!!! :)

Do you all mind if I join you here?? I will start by telling you a little about myself. I am 25 and DH is 24. We have been TTC since June 2005. I have had one blighted ovum, a early m/c and an ectopic pregnancy since November 2005. I have always been "big boned" but since I graduated high school I have gained about 80 pounds!!! :shock: :shock: I am currently at 245! :shock: :oops: I am not the type of person that sits around and eats all the time either. For some reason I have just gained and gained and gained. I have been wanting to lose the weight but I dont even know where to start. I know that if I lose about 75-80 lbs. then it will be alot easier for me to become pregnant and I will feel SO much better about myself. I was diagnosed with PCOS in April 2006 and have been taking Metformin since then~it has not helped me lose any weight at all. In fact, hours after I take it I feel really light-headed, almost like my blood sugar is low or something. :?

It would be great if you all could give me some ideas with what to do. I am joining Curves next week so I am hoping that will help me. Do you all have any ideas with diet or anything to that effect?

Can I join here to? I'm 5'6 & I weigh 167 at the gym with my clothes & shoes on. Can't weight at home anymore because DH BROKE my scale that I've been weighing on for the last 10 years. He weighs 275 but he's 6'7. The day my daughter was born 3-21-94 I weighted 172 :x Seems like the weight just jumps on. All my clothes are too small--again. I've never been able to get under 150 since 1998. If I could just get to 140 I'd be thrilled. I started thyroid medication in January--so far hasn't helped. I've actually gained.

What are you all doing that is actually working? The Atkins diet made me sick as dog all 3 times I tried it. Seems like everything takes soooo much work.

Tyanna, Curves should help you a lot. I go to something similar & it's a pretty good workout. I had a similar experience w/metformin. Keep taking it anyway because it will help. I think that side effect goes away after awhile. Do you have an eating plan?

Steph--I use the core plan on Weight Watchers. It is super easy. I am a slow loser so I'm sure it will take me a while to lose the rest. I have lost 10lbs so far, since January..... :roll: It's kinda frustrating. But I keep with it.
