Hi Ladies,
Well it is difficult to know how much I really lost because I dont have my own scale right now but today I wieghed approx 154 on my moms scale so approx. a 4 pound weight loss. Not bad for being on vacation, I have been trying to run everyday though almost. My next weeks wieght will be a little more accurate because I will have my own scale but I am not complaining seeing the 154 right now :D

Welcome Lisa, I used to wiegh around 200lbs and then I went down to about 140 and now I am back up abit so I know how you feel. I am sure it will happen for you!! Try not to be too hard on yourself. What kind of diet are you doing??

bb2, wow that is awesome, since I started at 164 not really 160 then if I am really 154 right now I feel awesome, that means 10lbs too. If only I could get down to 122 like you though, haha. Man I would love it, even 135 would be sooooo awesome!! Your doing awesome though, any tips you wanna share????

Blueskye, if I remember correctly you have AF right now right?? So the .5 wieght gain is still awesome since wieght flucuates at that time and you can gain like 5 pounds of bloat pretty much. I have been indulging in a little bit of sweets too but then I try and eat mostly veggies at meals. I am like you though I need the verbal abuse, I would love to go on biggest loser, (they would never take me) but then there would be someone yelling in my ear!! Even watching the show motivates me a lot!!

Cacton, Welcome to the group, dont feel bad about your wieght because the main point is you are gonna lose so its all good. You are doing awesome already if you avoided pizza and cookies, I have no self control when it comes to food, lol, but I am trying to work on it.

Irisheyes, awesome job this week, every pound counts!!! What have you been doing lately for work out or diet??


So does anyone have anything they find id really working for them or has in the past, such as diets?? I am thinking about joining wieghtwatchers online, my sister is doing it and she really likes it and it is working for her!!

I am trying just eating about 1000 calories a day and no sweets .
my diet I am trying to stick with:
8 am Kashi cereal
11am granola bar
2pm 1/2 sandwich or healthy salad
5pm lean Cuisene or weight watchers frozen meal
7pm granola bar

does that look good to you?.
I cant exersize right now because I just had my tubal reversal on the 9th.
I have been thinking about joining weight watchers too, but I keep thinking what if I get my BFP and cant do the program anymore and lose out on all the money I payed. besides I know what I need to do its just doing it thats hard and being consistent.

Hi Lisa! I've done the same thing....cut out sweets. I've also started paying close attention to my sodium intake. I was amazed when I started checking labels and found out how full of sodium many things are...If you want to find out how many calories you should have per day for your height and weight you can check out the site below...it's really helpful and best of all its free!

Hey Armywife...I think the thing that helps me the most is when I'm really hungry or tempted....I go find my tightest pair of "skinny" jeans and shove my rear into them and wear them around for a while..look in the mirror a couple times to check out the "hang over" :shock: ...it really makes me rethink my snack/meal choices. bb2 oooh good idea...I call that hang over a muffin top. eww. i hate that. this is my only problem area. everywhere else is good, just my belly is chubby.
So how is everyone so far this week? I want to have a miraculous weight loss by Friday! If I really try hard, I can be in the 150's by next week! That's exciting...I just want some new digits to look at :shock: SO SICK of seeing 160something for the past two years!! Pitiful that I started this thread on Aug 22 and now its Sept 25 and I've lost only 2 lbs!!! I have to remember that I hurt my neck and couldn't do anything, but still !! It's time to get to it.
How about you guys? What's new?

I have not done good at all. I have gained 3 pounds this week. Help Ladys!
I have just been so hungery sence my surgery.every morning this week so far I start out good having a healthy bowl of Kashi cereal at 8 am then by 10:30 am I am craving more carbs . maybe I should go back on atkins for a week or so just to get back to a healthy weight. so I am now 187. I changed my goal to 170. :( update I am starting Atkins ! :D

Hi All :D Im doing good so far this week went out for a meal tonight but only got a main course and asked for a smaller portion too I was so proud of myself...... My exercise has been going well not as much as Im use to doing as my asthma has been playing up this week not getting much sleep with it.... I had my nephew who is 2 and 11-months today he was sick so had to bring him down the doctors he still had so much energy so spent the day playing cars and other games Im so tired now but had so much fun with him any way how is everybody doing this week

Hey Ladies,
How is everyone doing this week? I am doing good, I started wieght watchers online this past weekend and its going good but man is it hard to stick to just 22 points a day!!!

Blueskye, dont feel bad about your wieght loss , every pound counts and you did have an injury so I am sure you will start losing more in the next few weeks!!

Lisa, Dont worry about the 3lbs, maybe its just some bloat, especially if you had surgery, your body could just be trying to get back on track. Carbs are the worst thing for me, I love them sooo much, I have never done the atkins diet so I dont know how it works! Dont feel bad, you will better soon!!

Irisheyes, wow I am impressed, restaurants are the hardest thing for me, I have a hard time asking for smaller orders and that so its very impressive.

bb2, How are you doing this week? That is a good idea, I will try and fit in my older pants that are a couple sizes smaller and then I wont want to eat the bad stuff!!

Only 2 more sleeps until the wiegh in!! I am excited because I have my own scale now that I am back home and I feel good!!!

I weighed in this morning and I actually lots 5 oz yesterday so I guess I did okay. :D I am not doing Atkins I am just going to eat less.

Hi ladies. Hope everyone had a wonderful week! DH, DS and I went on a major hike yesterday....about 3/4 of the way up this really steep mountain, DS got tired out so Dh packed him and I ended up packing the rifle and everything else :roll: well ofcourse I ended up taking a tumble and scratched the heck out of myself not to mention bruised my bum up pretty good.....when I signed up for the hike I meant up a trail...not up through the brush, ect........but my DH is in incredible shape and likes going off the beatin' path......anyway as of today I'm 2 lbs down....9 more to go! I'll be extremely busy through out the weekend so wanted to make sure I got to post. I O'd this week and we went ahead and gave it a shot....so we'll see what happens. :praying: Hopefully I can get most of the 9 lbs off before AF rears her ugly , wretched, bloated, unwelcomed head again. bb2 sorry to hear about your fall and :congrats: on your 2 lb loss you will be at your target weight in no time

I Lost 2 lbs this week :jump: :D :jump: but the :af: showed up but I guessed it was going to as I have been bloated since yesterday I just hope I don't crave bad foods now I guess if I do I will try my best to eat fruit instead ...

Hey Ladies,
well I am down to 153, not too shabby, I am happy about it and my body just feels so much better and my clothes are loose I love it. Now I realized today how messed up my scale is as I stood on it about 5 different times and every time the weight was different, grr but I am gonna go get a new one today or this weekend!!!

bb2, Congrats on the wieght loss, but sorry to hear about the fall!!

Irisheyes thats awesome you lost 2lbs, especially if AF is there and you are bloated. Stay stong and stay away from the bad foods!! I know how hard it can be!!!

How is everyone else doing????

I am so happy to check in and see that some of us lost weight...It feels so good doesn't it !!! I love seeing a different number on that scale...

Congratulations! Even one pound is a huge accomplishment...I pat myself on the back for 1/2 pound!! This stuff is not easy....
My husband is gone for the weekend, so I am certain I will eat healthy...Hopefully that translates into weight loss for next Friday...

I'm off to buy more spinach...I am eating salad every day for the next three days. That has worked for me in the past, just replace one meal a day with a salad for several days...It reduces bloat and is very cleansing.

What's everyone doing for the weekend? I'm going to learn how to scrapbook. Seems like a daunting task, but fun...Anyone a scrapbooker? I need tips.[/b]
