Yes today is weigh in, I guess I will post it here, I am now 142, so -2lbs, :jump:

Hey what happened to our last thread???

Just in case you didn't read the last one...I lost 2lbs and I'm at 174 now.

Hopefully the other thread comes back!

Glad we all found each other, I do not know what happened. Hopefully we will find it again soon and continue on the one. I hope BlueSkye finds us, so she can update the weigh-ins.

Well, I am up to 172.6 now. So up 0.6 pound. Hopefully it is just muscle.

Well, I weighed in at 262 today, so that's 2 lbs. lighter than last week. YAY for me! I was a little bummed b/c I thought I'd gained a lot this week, but it must've just been how :af: made me feel.

I went to the dr. today for my MRI results: possible tear in my lateral meniscus (the layer of cartilage on the outside of my knee cap). I have to wait for the orthopaedic surgeon to schedule me an appointment to find out if surgery is necessary. In the meantime, no running, jogging, use of stairs (unless absolutely necessary), or any other activity requiring repetitious bending of the knee. So, basicly, NO EXERCISING! :shock: Part of me is like, "YES, YES, YES!!!", but then my realistic personality chimes in and reminds me that I'M FAT!! :roll: I'll try to just do some sort of power-walking. Oh well, there's my story....

heatherqms Id say it will be muscle when my sister was dieting and exercising she lost lots of inches but not much pounds guess from the fat turning to muscle and they do say muscle weighs more


army_wife_ttc :congrats: on your 2 lbs loss hope your knee gets better soon


So to me Im the same weight not been great this week with having my sisters birthday meal last saturday and then pizza on sunday night but the good thing I don't like cheese so get it cheese-less but I was stuffed after 2 slices.... Don't know If I will get on here this week as fly out to florida on Wednesday and have a few things to do but their is internet in the villa so will weigh in friday hope I don't get too bad with all the lovely american food :wink: Hope you all have a great week and Happy Thanksgiving to all :D

army_wife_ttc: I feel your pain I had lost 12lbs until July when I my knee started hurting and I was off of it until September!!! That's why I'm just now getting back in the exercise thing. If you can't excercise your legs you could always do weights for your arms or something like that to just keep you in gear and drink lots of water!!! Water and eating right will help. I've not gone over board on the eating right thing because I am a picky eater but I have cut back on my portions and I think that helps. You feel full alot faster too. Vitamins have also been helping me I think. Good luck with your knee and congrats to all those who have lost weight!!!

heatherqms- muscle does weigh more than fat so maybe that is it... maybe you need to measure your weight loss on how your clothes are fitting and not the scale. A girl I know hasn't lost much weight pounds wise but has lost a ton of inches. Good Luck!!!

army_wife_tt-that really stinks about your knee..i kinda figured it was serious with your description of the brace you were fitted with..hope you take care of yourself, and heal very quickly. I had arthroscopic surgery on my knees if you have any questions just PM me.

ArmyWife- Were you talking with me about putting your pic up? When we lostthe last thread I had no way of checking.

Awesome everyone on your pounds lost this week. Well, I weighed in again today for the heck of it and I am down to 171. I think yesterday was a fluke (who knows).


Lets kick some butt this week!! Who cares about Thanksgiving, just have everything but in VERY small portions. That is my plan. The only problem with Thanksgiving is that if you do not eat a little of everything you end of offending someone. Does anyone know what I mean? So I will eat a little of everything and just continue to exercise everyday.

Thanks for the encouragement, ladies!!! I'm worried about being immobilized if I have to have the surgery on my knee, but I'll just have to wait and see what the dr.s say. GREAT JOB on the weight loss, girls!! I'm still embarrassed b/c I'm the only active one that shows to be weighing more now than when I began! :? Oh well, just have to work even harder, especially w/ Thanksgiving being this week... :shock: I've decided to just replace eliptical time w/ treadmill time, or time walking through the neighborhood, and I'm going to start using the sauna. I always forget our gym has one, but that's definitely something that won't hurt my knee. I'll keep you posted on what happens w/ that, though. HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!
