THANKS LADIES!!!! We arent telling anyone...I would shout it from the rooftops if my DH would let me, but its important to him that we keep it under wraps for now. I mean after 4 yrs of this, Im naturally DYING to tell someone. So thats why this site is such a comfort to me, I can tell you guys my TRUE weight struggles, AND shout out a BFP!!! :jump:

Armywife- I know! I started to get totally jealous of BFPs for a while...I totally understand...But please let this be hope for you!! This has been a LONG journey. I am sorry, I dont know much about your TTC situation. How long have you been TTC? Have you been to an RE?

I feel so in awe right now..Seriously, I must have the dumbest bright-eyed blonde look on my face now!! I am walking around in a stupor. Due to my recent surgery, I AM a little worried about uterine rupture as my pregnancy progresses. The ObGyn said I shouldnt worry about it, just be happy. My surgeon on the other hand, wasnt so pleased about my BFP happening so soon. OH WELL!! They both say a 37% chance of miscarriage simply due to my age..yikes

Blueskye--CONGRATS!!! WOO HOOO!!!!! YIPPEE!!!! :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump: :jump:

As for me:

Well, no sign of af yet, but she isn't officially due until tomorrow through sunday...but I would guess tomorrow since my last few cycles have been 28 days and tomorrow is 28th day, and 15dpo. I really want to test again, but I'm forcing myself to wait until Sunday (so that it would be my longest cycle date--31 days) Let's see. I'm really praying. I was looking at the test again, and I'm sure it's an evap line, but it looks a bit pink...hmmm...well, let me not go crazy in doubt. Somehow though, I didn't have too much of that sad feeling, I just still have more peace like I was sharing about before. I hope this is it. I didn't even tell DH that i took the test. I don't want to upset him. He is praying (possible more than me) for a Christmas bfp. Smile I know that he'll make the greatest father. When I see him with other children, it makes me see the Lord in a new way...honestly...he has such a huge compassionate and loving heart. I want to give him the gift of actually being a father. (okay, let me stop, I might start crying...I've been very emotional lately...maybe cause of the season)

Anyways, thanks for listening to me. Smile

Blueskye, I am really happy for you!! I have not been trying nearly as long as you, I have been trying since oct.2006, got pg in April and had to terminate at 15wks due to what I now know what something called amniotic band sequence. I dont want to get into it too much because it is a happy time that you are pg and I dont want to make anything negative! This is my last chance to get pg before my due date which was jan.16. I am holding out a little hope for this month but I am pretty sure AF is going to show tomorrow or friday!
I think it is amazing that you are pg, 4 years is a long time and you deserve more than anyone I am sure! Try not to worry about what the docs say I am sure you will have a happy and healthy 9 months! :D

Way to go Emily!!!

Armywife~I am sorry to hear about what happened with your baby. I got pregnant too in April and m/c ( had a D&C) in June at 10 1/2 weeks. My due date would have been Jan 11th. I don't really know how I am going to feel when it comes. I hope that you will get your bfp this month for Christmas!!!

Blueskye~ Anything new with your pregnancy? When is your first doctors appt? Have you told anyone yet?

ArmyWife-Trying for over a year is frustrating I know..It is a good thing that you CAN get pregnant and you will again! I am sorry if I offend you, but it is a HUGE hurdle you crossed, just to be able to get pregnant...I don't mean this the wrong way, please believe me...I had never been pregnant and we had timed BD for all these years!! I REALLY hope you dont see :af: ...When I was due last weekend, I wore a pad for three days CONVINCED she would show any second...Please please please let this be your BFP month...
oodah-thanks for sharing that about your miscarriage...That is my biggest fear. We are all here for you when Jan 11th gets here. No we havent told anyone yet about the BFP...Its important to my DH that we keep this a secret for a while..I am bursting to tell though!!
Emily-WooHoo!!! 1 pound is awesome!!!! Great job!!!
Bren-Did you test? :D

Well ladies I am trying not to worry, but I'm super nervous about the risks with being preggo so soon...NO ONE in my RE office is saying congratulations. That feels so terrible not to hear it from your fertility dr !!!! The nurse was making me feel so guilty...But I understand where she is coming from...I feel like asking them if they just want to terminate the pregnancy or what?!?!?!

Blueskye, dont worry that doesnt offend me, I feel lucky to know I can get pregnant and I know I will again in the near future! That is why I say you deserve it more than anyone because I can only imagine what a journey it has been for you! Dont worry about all those people they obviously just have some sort of chip on their shoulder because I believe that your body wouldnt let you get pregnant if it wasnt ready and also everything happens for a reason. Dont feel bad about your pregnancy, this should be a wonderful time but I do think your docs should atleast be saying congrats and making this a wonderful experience. I know everything will work out good for you!
Have you been having any symptoms yet??

Goodluck Blueskye- Don't worry so much it will only make it worse! Hang in there!! Why does your DH not want to tell people?

I too have been having crampy feelings and my uterus just feels.. well sore or something. It's probably all in my head. I had some really bad cramps pr pains night before last??? Maybe implantation... probably not but here hoping....

kristy-ty! i guess my husband goes along with the theory that its best to wait to tell people, bc of so many miscarriages in the first 12 wks...my chance is 37% simply due to my age. hmmm....your symptoms sound good, i remember at 6DPO I felt a flutter and a tiny crampy/sore feeling...fingers crossed for you :D

Ok just got off the phone with a high risk preggo dr, and he said first of all 'congratulations' (i like him already  ) and that any risks will not show up til 6 months from now, so be happy! yay!

WELL as it relates to this thread, due to the BFP, I have been eating SO healthy and exercising moderately every day...Anyone else keeping it going? I'm still in this!

First a big congrats to Blue! ^_^b

Second, an apology for not being around. I just got back from my vacation in Philly with my best friend. I'm still 150lbs, no gain or loss :\ But then, I haven't been exercising all that much and my diet still isn't great. So, no surprise here :p

Hey all! After today I will be out on vacation until after the first. I've also vowed not to weigh myself until the friday after new years. By then either AF will have started and be over or I'll have my BFP. We shall see. Either way I have been eating terrible and not exercising and I'm really down on myself for that so I will wait and make a clean start on new years. Good Luck to everyone!!!

Good morning! I don't know how it happened but I lost another pound!! I am down to 165! I didn't exercise at all... the only thing I really did was intense shopping on Wed! :o) I really haven't been eating good either. I weighed myself 3 times just to make sure. It must have been the shopping! I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holidays!!

Btw... my friend's baby got to go home a week ago after being in the ICU for a week and a half. He's 5 weeks old now and he's doing really well!!
