Welcome wifeymaeg!!! Good luck oodahlali, I hope your friend gets better. I have been doing horrible lately so I'm not even weighing anymore. I'm waiting for AF to show up on Sat and after she is gone I will get back on track. I have to!! I am huge!! Ok, not huge but I feel like I am.

How did everyone else do?

hey ladies do you mind if I join in. I am on my 4th cycle of TTC. The first three were with clomid but I am trying the natural route this time. I am getting an HSG done on Monday and DH is getting a SA done on Monday as well. I belong to a gym but hadn't been in a while. To kick start my exercising I got a personal trainer. When I weighed in for my first session i was 149. I want to be 125 so that if I get preggo I can gain the recommended amount of weight. I don't want to be 149 and then balloon. Plus I am going to exercise through pregnancy (when it happens). Anyway, next Saturday I go in for my second weight in. Wish me luck.

Hey Ladies, just checkin' in with my weekly weigh-in....

I gained a pound back :( So, I'm at 152.5 again.... bleh! I don't know why I gained! I only cheated once and that was sunday :( I mean, I skipped a couple days of exercise but I was still eating good darnit! Sucky... I hope you ladies are faring better!

AAAAaaaaaargh! I GAINED a half pound back this week :( I guess it's not TOO much of a surprise though. I didn't exercise all that much. I slept a WHOLE lot though. I was exhausted, passing out at 9-10pm each night which is really abnormal for me, I'm a major night owl. I had no energy, just enough to cook a little dinner and that's it.

So yeah, I have to get back on the ball! I'm really not eating enough each day and that's mainly because I wasn't able to get to the store and restock on foods... so I wound up skipping breakfest most mornings, or having nothing good :\ But, tomorrow is another day and I plan on restocking and really workin' at getting the pounds back off! Maybe I can lose and then some this coming week! :D

How are you ladies doing? Good I hope! Take care now!

hey ladies i hope you don't mind if i join, a little about me and please don't think i'm crazy,

I haven't worked out in years since i had my last kid which is 6 years ago, and when i say haven't worked out i mean i start and stop, so nothing continuos, i hope to start tomorrow and keep going, I have a treadmil so i will start a mile day on that and do a work out routine with hip hop abs, i will try not to eat sweets but since i don't eat much of them i may cave everyonce in a while, i need to loose 10lbs not 20 but is it still ok that i join with you all, i'm 5'6 and weigh um i'm not sure 125-130 i don't have a scale right now but am going to buy one next week to keep track of my progress.
I hope that we can be here for all our support needs good luck everyone

My update it this- AF showed her ugly face 8 days late yesterday!!!! I was so disappointed but this gives me no more excuses to not exercise!!! So here is the beginning of another week ladies! Good luck to all!!!

Hey ladies,
I havent posted in awhile but I am back from Mexico and I had a blast, I did gain a couple pounds but I ate wayyy to much and had some drinks, it was all inclusive after all, and I am also sooo bloated! So I am now back on the wagon and ready for a wiegh in on friday!

Welcome to all the new girls, Rainbowbrite of course you can join and only wanna lose 10, I have already lost about 25 so I surpassed my goal but I now have a new goal and I would love to lose about another 10lbs so we are on the same page!

I hope everyone is having a great week so far, how many people over ate yesterday because of the superbowl? I sure did :D

Hey ladies I am so excited. i had my first weigh in on Saturday and I lost 4 lbs over this last past month. I hope to cut at least 7 off for this month. Well 4 down and 20 to go.

Hey Ladies,
I am 134 today, which I am happy with since I gained a few lbs in mexico and I am expecting AF anyday. I am also having a hard time being motivated the last couple days but I am feeling better today so I am sure I will get to the gym!

I dont think we have had an update in awhile, the board has been pretty quiet so lets get an update going, I will do it once everyone posts their weigh in results!

Rainbowbrite, I lost it by working out mostly, I did wieghtwatchers online for about 1 1/2 months and it taught me to eat a lot better, I eat way more vegetables now. But mostly the working out is what does it for me, I go anywhere from 5-7 days a week and I also do some wieghts and exercises at home everyday.

Hi Everyone I'm back :)
Sorry I've been MIA for so long but I kinda fell off the wagon over Christmas, and January. I put on 1kg but I've lost half of that again so in terms of pounds I'm about the same. I'd need to either do the conversion again or check the front page to see how much I weighed last time :wink:
Anyway I got bored of the diet I started in November. I was soooooo sick of salad and there was no way I could continue eating 1.5-2cups vegetables every night so I think that's why I gave it up. So on Saturday I joined weight watchers online and had my first 'official' weigh-in this morning and I lost .5kg (about 1 pound) so I'm really happy so far. I've also been walking heaps and tonight I went and had a look at Curves and DH has agreed to let me join (although he did read me the riot act and told me that if I stop going like I have with all my other gym memberships he's going to be really pissed off) so hopefully I can stay on track and reach my goal.

How is everyone else doing?

Oh and :welcome: to all the new people.

BTW - I'm not sure who it was that asked but my BMI is currently 30 (eek :oops: )

Hello Ladies,
I wonder if I coudl join? I am 27, married for 7 years with a wonderful daughter whose 2 1/2. Before I got preg first time I weighed around 181, that was the heaviest I had ever been before. i am around 5'8" and when I graduated and moved in to my hubbies I weighed a whopping 130 lbs. Wow, did that change. I started taking BC and gained 35 in 4 months, quit smoking and gained 15 more, gained and lost several times over the years, but not too drastic. I ended up at 181 and got preg, gained 60 pounds and lost 45 as soon as I left hospital, lots of fluid retention, i was borderline preeclamptic entire preg. Then I managed to get back down to about 176. Well, i don't know what happened, but I am not 210 lbs. I am so sick of myself. We've been TTC for 6 months. I wonder if I'm having such a hard time because of my weight. I think my BMI is like 31 or something. I read that somewhere that it's acutally considered obese. I had no idea I was obese. I thought i was fat, for some reason in my mind there was a difference. So needless to say, I need some support. My dh is great, he is really supportive, been trying to help me loose weight for a while, he's really into exercise and nutrition, so I shouldn't have a problem, I don't know why, but I have been deiting for two weeks and haven't lost a pound. Have to admit haven't done any real exercise, we just bought a new house and have been working and painting here at haven't gotten equipment back out. I have fluctuating periods sometimes they come two weeks apart, like this past month, wonder if that's because I'm OW, my dh thinks so. I had to go on prometrium before my dd cause of the same issue, and doc didn't mention weight as an issue. Any help and advice and support are welcome, I have to get in gear.
