excersizing while ttc/pregnant

I usually walk and use my ab ball for excersizing, is it safe to do while ttc or pregnant?
I know walking is, i usually like to walk fast, and i walk outside usually in the heat.
Im more worried about toning on the ab ball.

From what I've read, it's not 'recommended' to do abdominal exercises when TTC (and obviously not great when PG!). I don't know what harm it could do if any, though...and really, as long as you're not overexerting the area, it probably won't do any harm at all.
First missed injection of Depo: Aug.2005; TTC#2 ever since.

Do you think it affects the TTC/ PG by working and tensing your ab muscles? :oops:

I think it's got something to do with the rectus abdominus (that line that goes down the middle of the 6/8 pack) separating. Sometimes it needs to be surgically corrected, so best to avoid that. I've seen sites that say it's ok during the first trimester to exercise the abs gently, but it's not like you're gonna get an 8 pack when you're pregnant, huh? LOL
