Is this right?

Postby TTCwPCOS1809 » Sat Feb 12, 2011 9:38 am

Okay, so I started taking the Vitex Jan 31, 2011. I havent noticed any symptoms yet but its still too early. I have read that it can take up to 2-3 months to get completely in your system. I started reading the other topics on here about vitex. Everyone is describing the Vitex differently. I actually started taking it because I read on here that it can regulate AF. So here is the "run-down" on what I take everyday.

Metformin- 4pills a day 500mg each.
Vitex fruit by Natures Way- on the back of the bottle it says to take 1 capsule two or three times daily. I decided to take them three times a day. These are 400mg capsules.
Simply One Prenatal by Super Nutrition- im not sure about the mg? because it doesnt out right say it on the bottle. But its a vegetarian based prenatal. Obviously taking one per day.

Has anyone here had any luck taking all three of these? or should I stop taking the metformin? Or do I even have the right Vitex lol. Please help me out. I know its still early after taking the Vitex but DH & I have been trying for over 2 years. Could use a little pick me up =]

I have only been on Metformin for 6 months. It hasn't done anything. Except give me tummy troubles. I am going to see my new OB at the end of this month so I am hoping she can give me Clomid.
