Correction to my last post. It's a little over two weeks. Not a little less than ): haha. I was getting ahead of myself.

We told our best friends and some close family already, but we aren't announcing or telling everyone else until after the first appointment. Probably around 9 weeks is when we will announce.

That's exactly what were going to do also. We've told a select few people and our closest family. At my first actual ob appointment I'll be 10w1d. I have been having really bad pains in my uterus after I use the bathroom. I've googled it (prob not the best idea) and a lot of people say it's a bladder infection. Ever had anything like that? I called my dr and she said to make sure I stay hydrated and stop taking my prenatal for a couple days because the iron could be doing it. I don't think I can stop taking them though! I feel like it's a sin. Hahaha.

Update on our situation: It didn't end well.

I had been having spotting on an off since 6/7 weeks. I went in to the E.R. twice and since I didn't have abdominal pain, they wouldn't send me for an ultrasound. I managed to get my 8 week appointment bumped up a few days because of the bleeding. As I feared, the u/s revealed the truth. Instead of a gestational sac and baby, we saw a large mass in my uterus. Through the language barrier (I'm a military wife and we're living overseas currently), I believe the doctor was saying I had a molar pregnancy. I had to have a D&C last week and now I'm waiting on my first follow-up to see if everything went well.

We really feel like this isn't the right time for us after these two consecutive losses, so I'm not going to be around the TTC section for quite some time. Good luck to all you ladies in your TTC journeys! <3
