Hi ladies, just letting you know I'm coming back to this side of the boards. Found out I had a blighted ovum yesterday. Not the news we wanted but such is life. Physically haven't started the miscarriage yet but emotionally DH and I have. Be a few weeks before I'm back on the TWW but I figured I would let you all know.

Hey ladies, I'm just making a quick post to say I am going to take a small break from the forum until the miscarriage and first cycle are done. Probably looking at about two months or so before I come back to the TWW.

GL and FX to all of you!!

Will do randa! I'm just finding reading the posts about TWW very emotional right now. Going to give myself a small break to recover. I thought the TWW was rough, waiting to miscarry is a whole other ball game.

OMG, IM SO SO SO SORRY KANDI, My heart goes out to you. :( :( :( My heart felt apologies, i will be praying for you. :hugs:

What sad news.

Sorry for not being in touch earlier, I just wanted to get AF out of the way, and get to the TWW and then post, but this has completely thrown me off, didnt expect this news first thing this morning. So sorry Kandi. When ever i have had hard ships in the past, there is only one thing that has got me through- God only gives you what you can handle- he knows you are strong and you can handle this. It will strengthen you, and for every one bad thing there are 2 great things around the corner, you just have to go through the hardships first. Big Hugs. I know you are feeling emotional and hurting right now, but sometimes you have to let yourself grieve, then realise that some others have a bigger burden, and sometimes that helps. I wish you every happiness, and good things will be coming your way my love, i promise.

xx

Update:

I just got back from the fertility specialist.

So looks like I have Poly Cystic Ovaries, but not the syndrome (so it's PCO, not PCOS). I also have very high blood flow to both ovaries, which means treatment will have to done very carefully (or they could risk over-stimulating the ovaries). I have to go in for a HyCoSy (Hysterosalpingo-Contrast-Sonography) on Thursday to know more. They prescribed Metformin (twice a day), and I have a special diet plan to follow. Apparently it's going to take a while to get that coveted BFP, so I'll be here a while.

All said and done, I'm glad to finally have a diagnosis. It could have been worse, I guess.

Not looking forward to that HyCoSy. :(

Hey ladies, hope everyone is well!
Kat I hope the hycosy went well, at least you are en route to sorting the problem out! It's a positive thing!
Everyone else, I hope your journeys are going well. I'm on cycle day 18 today, and we didn't manage to bd throughout the whole of the fertile period, so I am out this month. Complete waste of an opportunity but nothing that can be rewinded now. Gutted really. But I'm a strong believer of whatever will be will be.
X wishing better things for all of you beautiful girls xx

Hello ladies! How's everybody doing?

I had my HyCoSy scan today...just got home. DH took the afternoon off to come with me (thank goodness). My left tube had some minor blocks, so the procedure was incredibly painful  I was sobbing and crying so badly, two nurses came in from next door to see what was going on!

It's all over now, though, and I'm glad. Both tubes are now clear and open! I'm starting Metformin tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be too long before that BFP!

randapanda - Are your blood test results in yet?

I'm currently CD26. Had my consultation with the fertility specialist and the ultrasound scan done on CD8, HyCoSy scan on CD15, started Metformin on CD17. BDed for fun on CD18 and CD21. The OPKs I ordered arrived only on CD22, so I started testing then...but I'm pretty sure I'm out for this cycle since I haven't had a positive yet. Then again, my last cycle was 90-something days, so you never know! Guess I'll just have to keep testing until AF shows! I've had some AWFUL nausea for the past two days (side effect of the Metformin, I'm guessing), and mild AF-like cramps and twinges. Not sure what's happening in there...lol!

How is everybody doing? xx

Well took a f****** dumb ept test like a dumb@$$ and of course BFN and I cried almost all day yesterday. I know bad move but I tried..... :-(
Bbs hurt like AF but nothing and just hope she comes soon.

UGH! Why do I do this? Sorry....venting a bit.

No blood tests yet as I am needing to set up appt and then decide if I really want the ugly truth. Might do it with the doctor here or thinking about with my old doctor. Not sure but my pap is due either way.

Blah and emotional today.

Sorry ladies :-(
