I hope that works for you! I'm on 8 a day!

I can't believe I'm almost at the end of my second trimester!

Did you guys find out the sex of the baby? I mean, are you planning to, or do you want it to be a surprise? :)

Hey SouthernBelle! How are you?

Ya I am missing some vitamins and may not be Ovulating but getting mote results when I go back next month. I could have gotten them sooner but the visit would have cost from $18 -148 and we cant do that. Since havinh an earache to hubby pulling a hamstring we used up our coverage on insurance of what they would cover. So when I go get my pap done thats free I want to get my results also thats remaining.

The doc also said I needed to set up an appt with a gynecologist which was what I was afraid of if infertility.

I cried a bit and felt sorry for myself and told hubby I felt broken and sorry I could not get pg easy. He said we just needed to wait and let Him decide if we will have more babies. That I at least gave him one child. Ugh! :-( but I do understand what he is saying and I dont cry anymore since I got the horrible news.

Hows everyone doing?

Big hugs, randapanda. <3 It will all work out.

I had an appointment with my OB/Gyn today. Turns out I've only gained 3 lbs throughout this pregnancy (I'm 27 weeks along now). Baby seems healthy, though, so they're not too worried.

Southern - How is the pregnancy going?

Randa, I was really sad when I was diagnosed with pcos. I totally understand how you feel. The good thing was while it was scary, the doctor had a plan and a solution that worked! I wasn't ovulating either (or of I was it wasn't very often). I hope you get some answers. I understand where you are coming from with the money too. We are broke, which is terrifying but I guess it will work itself out. The treatment wasn't much covered by insurance so we ended up paying for some things out of pocket. We have really crappy health insurance though.

Kat, It's going good. Can't say I've only gained 3 pounds lol. I think I've gained about 9 so far and I'm behind you lol! I'm scared I'm going to gain too much.

So Southern what they prescribe for you? I thought about getting on medication but scared to. I am trying to work out and stay busy.

I didn't debate on the medicine. The OB's office tried to prescribe metformin, but I didn't feel comfortable with it at all so I got a second opinion. That doctor said he uses that only as a last resort. He said it's not really meant to get you pregnant (just to control your periods), and since my goal was pregnancy we did Femara which I took days 5 through 9. Then I went into the office on I think it was day 16 to get an ultrasound to check if I had mature follicles, which I did. Then at the last minute we decided to do the trigger shot just to be 100% sure it worked. (It makes you ovulate within 36 hours). We had to pay for the shot out of pocket which sucked (it was $80 bucks) but it was SO worth it not to second guess anything. It was stressful but I wouldn't change anything! I didn't have any side effects from the meds at all either.
