A good book by a lodge fireplace and a warm beverage isn't so bad! Especially on those super cold days! And next year you can make him watch the baby while you ride! Haha

We live just 20 mins from the Winter Park Ski Resort and we ride the Mary Jane side almost exclusively. Mary Jane is slightly less crowded than Winter Park side, it's blues and above, ungroomed and has some great big mountain riding (for me) and great tree runs (for DH).

4 hrs isn't too far! Perfect for a long weekend away. Before we moved her last winter we were 8 hrs away and that was rough!

Hey! I'm good! Had the shortest cycle since quitting BC! 44 days! So I'm feeling like the meds are helping. I'm going to try out OPKs this cycle too and see how that goes. I follow up with my dr this month on the 25th. Not sure what we will discuss or if I'll have more blood drawn or what but all in all I feel like we're making progress.

How are you feeling?!

Feeling ok! The back pain has started. 21 weeks along now. This baby boy is so ACTIVE! Especially when I want to sleep! Haha.

I hope the OPKs help you out this cycle! I go see my doc on the 21st just for a quick prenatal check up. So you'll have to do a quick doctor update for us :)

Ha, that's a bummer he doesn't know he needs to let you sleep! Glad you are doing mostly well. If you can afford it or have time for it, the mom I nannied for swore by the chiropractor for her back pain.

I'll def update you all after my follow up! You do the same!

Kandii- I just saw that you're having a boy, that is so exciting that you know! awww congrats!

I am so much happier here in our new place and I know we will both be less stressed now :) I have an appt. on Monday with the OB/GYN since it has been a year since my last regular check up. I am obviously going to tell him that I have been off BCPs for 11 months now and see what he says!!!

I missed you girls, sorry!!

Glad to hear your settling in and doing well at your new place! I can't believe it's been almost a year for you! It's crazy how time flies! Hopefully he is encouraging and you can get the ball rolling as far as seeing if there is something more you can do since you are nearing the year mark.

Hey ladies! So I started using the opks I bought. The clearblue advance digital ones since they test 2 hormones not just LH. I took my first one yesterday, nothing. The one this morning I got peak fertility! I assumed as mentioned in the instructions I'd get high before peak. I'm pretty shocked and excited but also wondering if it's accurate. I'm sure it's possibly to go from low to peak with no high reading but I'm still skeptical.

I just left my doctor appointment and things are looking good! I still have cysts on my ovaries he wishes weren't there but he said I had some evidence that I may have ovulated! He drew blood to test my progesterone to see if that will confirm it.

Of course he also said not to get my hopes up and to be patient as it could be a bit longer til I'm where he thinks I need to be to conceive. In any see I'm just happy things are looking better!

That's awesome you got a positive OPK! Mine did the same thing yours did. I got stark white then a blazer the very next day! So its completely possible.
I am definitely contemplating a massage therapist for my back - just to release some of those tight muscles I get from shifting position in bed all night. Nothing is comfy! Something they don't warn you about.

French so good to hear from you! I can't believe you've been off BCP for 11 months!
I go back and think about it though, I quit my BCP in October of 2013. Had one miscarriage and am now pregnant. A lot can happen in that time! We missed you too! Keep us posted :)

Hi girls! Well the dr appt was very disappointing because he was rushing me and didn't even give me time to ask any questions I had! It's ashame beacause I had never had an issue there before. it's an hour away from my new place, so maybe it's time to find someone closer anyway. New year, new start right?!

Gah, that sucks when they rush you! It certainly wouldn't hurt to find someone closer. It will certainly make scheduling appts easier because you don't have to factor in such aong drive time.

Afm, my +opk has lead to nothing. Neg hpt and no AF. So here we are again. Yeesh.

Awe no Always! Your body is playing mean tricks on you. I just checked your FF chart - 25 DPO? Did you keep using those OPKs after you got the +?
I've heard of some ladies getting two separate positive OPKs in the same cycle. Cause its just your body gearing up to O, it doesn't actually mean you did O. That's usually confirmed by temping (but that's a ton of work!)

French I hate rushed appointments. My first OB/GYN appointment she was called out to a delivery, my appointment was 2 hours late, and we spent maybe 3 or 4 mins with her before the whole appointment was over. So not worth the wait. I would have rather seen my GP who actually spends some time asking how I am doing/feeling. Totally feel your frustration!
