Kandii, I did not continue the opks. After the + I considered it but when my dr did the scan and he saw evidence of ovulation I didn't think I'd need to. Now I wish I had. I don't temp either so no way of truly knowing. Uhg.

I did OPKs a couple days before I got my + and a couple days after. But I know some woman who have a longer cycle or irregular cycles can get a positive OPK twice in the same cycle and usually end up Oing later with the second +.
But you said your doc did the scan and saw evidence of O so you're right. You probably don't need to keep checking the OPK.
I didn't get my BFP until I was 18DPO and it was faint. After the miscarriage my body had been really messed up so I had like a delayed implantation.
Hopefully this cycle isn't mean and take forever OR you get a BFP! :)

Merry Christmas ladies!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I had a lazy day at home with DH, it was really nice.

As for ttc stuff, still awaiting AF. Part of me wonders if I should retest but with a stark white negative at what I thought was 18dpo Im convinced it would also be negative. I'm cd 50 today and I plan on calling the doctor tomorrow about that at a few other things.

Merry Christmas, girls! The past few months have been so busy at work, they have flew by! Worked 10 straight days until Christmas and then had to run around and see everyone, so I am looking forward to the next day we can sit home and just enjoy each other. But it was nice to see family. Thanksgiving and Christmas made me a little upset that we decided last Thanksgiving to start TTC and it's already been over year and nothing has happened. It also made me excited to think that next year I could be pregnant or bringing a little one around with us. There have certainly been months and periods of time where we have been not really trying. So now I am just confused! Is there something wrong with me or am I just not doing enough?! I only used opks one cycle and it was only a few times. I have never temped or done anything like that, so I feel like I have just taken a really relaxed approach and now i obviously dont think thats going to get us anywhere any faster. I kind of feel like a little bit of a crazy person right now ahhhh!

Hi Ladies, I'm new to being an active tww member but not so new to stalking...just looking for a place I can share my thoughts with where people understand. Hubby tries but often ends up saying things that just make it worse. Anyways, been actively TTC since May and saw the RE in November. Stopped BC in March. Being tested for PCOS as I have had irregular periods lately. It's a stressful journey for sure. French--I understand what you went thru when you said your GYN was rushing and not listening, that happened to me! So I made an appointment with the specialist and they have been extremely helpful for the most part. They were so thorough and are checking out everything. It is just a relief that a medical professional can provide some insight now...I love my google searching but everyone is different and there is some wacky information out there :) Right now I'm on CD 10 and took Femara days 3-7. Had a positive OPK today but am also randomly bleeding so I'm not really sure what's going on, BD yesterday and probably will today just in case.

French, I feel ya. The end of the year is always a time for reflection and it isn't always positive. That being said, the new year is full of possibility and hope. I personally feel very hopeful for the first time in a while. I hope that feeling is right!

An, welcome! French and I are have been at ttc for over a year now and it sounds like you aren't too far behind. I have pcos and stupid long cycles so I can relate to that. It def sucks. I know ttc is all about timing but since my cycle is never "regular" how am I ever to know when the right time is?! Uhg so frustrating! Good luck to you this cycle!

Hey ladies!
Been awhile since I checked in. Got really busy over the Christmas holidays. Had some of those up and down days. Was hard to realize I was pregnant last Christmas too but wasn't able to keep that baby. Feeling grateful this year for this pregnancy.
I hope 2015 brings you ladies those BFPs you've been waiting so patiently for!
Always - how long have your cycles been so far?

French - I felt the same as you. I didn't do too much "intense" monitoring. But once I started too it seemed like it just worked. But maybe it was just getting to know my body better that was key.

An - welcome!

Hey Kandii, hope you had good holidays! Sometimes busy is good sometimes it's just exhausting!

My cycles still suck. That short one was a fluke I think. I'm cd 69 today and on day 5 of provera to enduce a period. I'm so frustrated and feeling helpless. My doctor is over and hour away so it's not easy to just go see him and we have very little resources nearby so either I keep on keeping on or start rearranging my work schedule to meet with a new doctor or specialist. And that just feels so daunting like I'm starting over. Uhg.

French, are you still around?

Always - that's too bad that they don't have resources closer by. Makes things difficult to sort out for sure. Hopefully AF has made an appearance by now and you can focus on a new cycle.
FX this next cycle is the one for you!

Hey ladies! Just finished AF, thanks to provera. Finally a new cycle. Not that that has been helpful in the past but at least it's something!

Kandii, you're on the downhill side of your pregnancy now! How are you?! Have you started choosing names yet?!

French, do you like your ob/gyn? If you do I'd say it's not too far. Mine is 1hr and 15 mins away and that's the closest place to deliver a baby here! I'd say if your comfortable with the drive and like the doctor/hospital then stick with them. If not start searching for a new one. Better find one you like before getting pregnant than after!

I do like him, I have been going to him since I was 17. I think it would cause me so much anxiety if I had to find a new doctor! There are so many in the area where I live, I just dont know what to do!

No use stressing if you're happy! I'd say stick with the same doctor!

Hey ladies!

I called my OB/GYN and the nurse said I should come in. So I have an appointment tomorrow morning. I am kind of nervous because I dont know what to expect. But I know it's time to go in and see whats going on and just make sure everything is fine. So I feel like I am finally taking a step in the right direction to start taking better care of myself.

I have been having really weird symptoms for the past two days, but I am only on CD 23 and have no idea when I O'd. I feel like I am just thinking wayy too much into my symptoms. I have a low grade fever which I hardly ever get a fever, and my whole body aches and I'm just soooooo tired! I just feel like crap all around. Last night I noticed my BBs were a little sore and tender, I am so hot, my feet are hot and my feet are always cold! It feels like I'm getting sick, but I have no sore throat or cough. But I think its wayyyy to early to be having any symptoms so I dont know!

talk to you soon ladies. i hope everyone is doing well.
