How many children do you want?

I would love as many children as I can afford. Unfortunately, this has been a very rough road and I'm not sure we want to go through this again. So, for now we will just count our lucky stars if we are blessed with one. In a few years we might re-evaluate the situation and see if we want to do this all over again...but I doubt it :(

DH and I want 3 kids, preferrably all boys. However, we would be thrilled with any gender God gives us.

I would love to have 3--- but my girlfriend and I have agreed on 2. :| For now at least  Maybe I will be able to change her mind eventually. :shh: She really seems to just want 2 though, she says "one for each hand!" and she REALLY wants twins-- I said if SHE carries them THEN we can have twins! Haha.

I voted for 2 but I really don't know. lol It depends after I have my first child if I get pregnant. However, if I were having twins then I think that would be enough unless that isn't in God's plan for me. For me I can't really decide anymore because I have to see how it is after we have our first baby. lol

i think the eyes have it for 2 or 3...
i'd opt for three... originally i wanted two... but three's a crowd! a very big happy family!

i'd really like three, as my df and i both come from families with 3 children... he's the last of the three, and so am i... i have two older brothers, and he has two older sisters (no brothers-in-law for me!)

I voted for two. Preferably a girl and boy but I don't really get a say in such things, do I?

DH has 4 brothers (1 older and 3 younger) and I look at how close they are compared to how close my brother & I are. DH says the reason why they aren't really close at all (besides his mom being a complete whacko) is because when he got mad at one, he had three others to go to and play with! With my brother and I, we are best friends... we always used to play together when we were younger so if one of us got mad at the other, it left us pretty much alone, so we always made up quickly.

hey january you put up a very valid point there... when there's two, they tend to be closer than when there's three or more... my 1st bro got married abt 10 years ago, that gave my 2nd bro n i time to bond... which worked pretty well! we all were close, all 3 of us, but my 2nd bro and i were closer... lol.
i'd opt for two also, but i voted for three...

but my honest opinion? i'd take two... and if the third one comes along, i'll welcome him or her just like i did with my first two! but no more!!! lol!!!

3-4 i think. I originally wanted 4, hubby wants 3.

But because our son is so old now, i'd like to have at least 3 children close together...If we are so blessed to be able to have more.

We both want 2. We both come from a family with 3 kids, and almost everyone in my family has or wants 3 kids... but I have always felt that 3 always means 2 vs. 1.

In my dreams I would have a large family 4! But I will take what ever I can get. My DH and I both come from a family with 3 kids. Its true that when my siblings and I were growing up there were lots of situations where it was 2 against 1, but now that we are grown, we are happy to have each other to lean on.
