I would LOVE to have four or six kids! I'm not too keen on odd numbers as others have pointed out it's always 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 or whatever. I have three brothers and loved having a big family. Although I do wish I would have had a sister as my two younger brothers are very close then me then my oldest brother... I would love to have two boys and two girls. :-) How great would that be! All my aunts have at least four kids. My uncle has two kids and they're not very close at all (boy and girl). I just love kids and feel the more the merrier!!! :-)

I am actually watching Sextuplets on Discovery Health and although i don't want six at one time, I think it's great they have such great siblings to play with! :-)

I know. I'm crazy! LOL I've been told that a time or two... Now dh wants two, maybe three. I say no odd so say we'll compromise on four. Still working on that... I am really hoping for an easy pregnancy and delivery so no complaints can be made as an excuse to not have anymore.

Sorry, I'm rambling now...

I would like 4, Dh would like 3, so we'll see. Ideally I would get preg. this late summer early fall, so that DD is about 2 when 2nd baby is born and then I would like to wait 4-5yrs before ttc again and have the next 2 close in age. awww if only things always went the way we wanted.

I only want one...because hubby will more than likely never live with us full time (he stays in a work camp, 18 or so hours away) and my parents are not really the kind of parents that you can drop kids off with (they are absolutely the best parents ever, and will love their grandkid...but my mom works every day of the year except for Christmas and that doesn't leave a lot of time for baby sitting) So one is good enough for me...basically its going to be me and the kid all the time so if I were to have more than one...I think it would just be too much. Plus it is sooo much easier to just pack up one kid and 2 Saint Bernards to make the trip to see hubby...rather than 2 kids and 2 Saints..whew!!

I want to have 5, we're cooking the 3rd in the oven. As they get older it's in my heart to adopt a sibling group of 3. But having done foster care I know that is so complicated and love doesn't fix all. But I guess 5 for sure, maybe 8.

Originally I wanted to have a total of 4. 2-3 naturally born and 1-2 adopted but coming to my senses I realized what a HUGE expense adoption unfortunately is. However, I would love to have at least 2 of our own and possibly, if we have the space available to do so, I would love to look into becoming foster parents as well.

My main concern, that is if I can help it, is having my own children within at least a year to two year of each other. All of my cousins were around the same age, living in the same town so naturally, they practically grew up together. I on the otherhand, 10 years younger was considered to be the baby and was treated as such. By the time I was old enough to look forward to having a playmate, my cousins and siblings were all in highschool and wanted little to do with me. So, I figure, if I have my own children close together, at least they'll each have someone their own age they can relate to.
