Happy second 21st Hang!! I understand its not the greatest feeling, but it is just a number! I haven't seen a picture of you, but i bet you don't look a day over 29!
good luck with the house..you could always rent it out til you feel your income is stable! We looked at a few do-oer upper houses when we were looking for an investment property, but they went soo high we wouldn't have been able to afford to do them up! it was a bit crazy! One we looked out was the weirdest house we ever saw..it had no doors..not even the bathroom..they had fancy arches instead, lots of mirrors and red plush carpets..and an upstairs room that was lockable from the ground floor..what it was used for is anyones guess, but we had fun guessing!! It needed about $100,000 spendt on it to bring it up to scratch, but the buying price was already at the price others went for in the area!

Babette, wow on your brother..i would say as its his millionth wedding I wouldn't bother bringing a gift, unless you have something you could regift..lol. I hope your sister doesn't stress too much over the cake..doesn't sound like there will be anywhere to eat it!!
when is your 5 km walk??

Kez sounds like an interesting house!! Yes unless we can get it for a steal it really won't be worth it in the end although we will be doing all of the renos ourselves again. It does follow the worst house in the best neighbourhood motto. I am a bit of a germ-a-phobe so I would have to rip out all of the flooring before entering as there is carpet in one of the bathrooms - yuck!! DH is a little reluctant to put in an offer for some reason. Probably because he has so much work to finish our basement before listing it. I figure maybe this is the kick in the but he needs.

BTW- my FSH was down to 1.3 for my last cycle. That DHEA and COQ10 is making the difference.

Happy 42! I will be there in 29 days :)

Kez - second 21st, I LOVE that! Will have to use it on my bday ;)

Hang, why are you always doing house buying/remodeling when you are going thru IVF or being Pg??! LOL Hopefully you guys get it ;) No, no FET yet, if ever? I REALLY want to, but it wont be until next year at the earliest. Part is finances, part is my health. I need to get to a better place to lessen any complications. I pray I get some of these issues under control soon so I can get back to working out, etc and strengthen up before FET. I just read an interesting article the other day about PG possibly causing auto immune conditions like lupus, arthritis, etc. And, ewwww on bathroom carpet. :puke:

Um, ONE.POINT.THREE?! I think you ARE 29 ;)

Some new family spam for ya'll :D

YiYi I hope you enjoy the thirty degree weather we are going to have today. It is good to see you pop in again today

Motox first of all I love your pictures. She is so cute. I think we may need to set up our kids. My LO has been told that he will be a doctor so they can have a great life. I guess I should get him to stop peeing and pooping in his diaper before I have him off in med school. Or maybe I should have him up his work count from dadda, momma and barking like a dog!! That is great that you are going to wait until you are all better. You have the advantage of waiting as your embroyos are "timeless". I am slowly accepting the fact that my LO may be an only child.

So I made an offer last night that will be submitted today. As I think I mentioned before all of my houses (current one and rental) is only based on my finances as DH is a realtor and it is advised that he is not attached to owning a home just in case something happens were he is sued for something. That is what the lawyer has told us. Anyways I put in a "low ball" offer of $325000 and it is being listed as $369 900. I can't imagine I will get it but it would be a great opportunity for us to make money in the long run as no house in that area is under $400 000 and it is in the best school area. Cross your fingers. Yes I think I may be crazy!! LO is off to inlaws today as I am on my second day home with a terrible fever, sore throat and ears if you can imagine. He is sick too but he has more of a cold. I may even have to break down and go to the doctor today to find out what is going on just in case I need antibiotics to clear it up. Hopefully not as I don't want it to screw up my next cycle.

Hang: Happy belated birthday! Wow, you are busy...bidding on a house and fertility treatments...not to mention all this while sick. I hope you feel better soon and things start to go your way.

Motox: Wow, what a cute family! Love those pictures. How are you feeling these days?

Babatte: That is crazy about your brother. You should write a book about him. You have a way with words and he is an interesting character. Enjoy the 5K!

Yiyi: How are things going for you?

AFM: I am 36 weeks and feeling it. Baby is really low and I get these lightening bolt feelings down in my pubic bone area. Also peeing like 5-7 times a night. Hoping the low baby will mean I go into labor this time and not end up with a c-section at 41 weeks. Eddie's 3rd birthday party is coming up on the 12th so have a lot of planning to keep me busy. Just hope I don't go into labor during it....or have my water break!

Motox, I love those pics! I sent a friends request! I forgot to message who I was before i sent it..lol..I just didn't see the message bit!

Hang good luck on the offer..you never know..the house we live in was advertised at 330,000, we offered 308 and got it! I guess it just depends on the seller. I have done house buying while doing IVF..I liked having something else to focus on! Hope you feel better fast!

Zohbee wow, you are soo close! I pray you have a wonderful birth experience and Eddie loves being a big brother! Are you having a theme for his birthday? I hope we will get to see a picture or two??

Hi Yiyi! Hi Babatte, Hi Keirann, and Hi Kim! Hi if I forgot anyone!

AFM, not a lot..just got my hair coloured today, brown, red and purple! Just thought id try something different! DH is away in UK, so im living solo..its certainly different..and not something i want to do on a regular basis..thankfully he's told me he misses me and feels bored without me..so yay..its good to be missed! Ive spent my time catching up with girlfriends..but i still have 2 weeks to go and have pretty much caught up with them all already..i need a project..maybe i will try to make us some coffee tables..not that i have a clue how to go about it, but we need them!

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to drop in for a second. I will get back with personal later. Been sick with mean sinus/ear infection. I have not been this sick in years and I do not think it is a coincidence it occurred 7 days after step son showed up. He is nasty and he nearly gave me a stroke and thats no joke either last wednesday. He had me so upset. We have already had it out a couple of times. He is all anyone can possibly handle. Trying to keep it together.

Plan on trying to get into to RE this next cycle. However, DH spent my money I had set back for it on his son. Pisses me off!!!! That kid has already broke are bank as it is. I am really trying to be patient but it is so hard.

Hope everyone is still doing okay!

Kierann - i am so sorry you have to deal with this. He really sounds like he needs professional help. I hope you and DH can bring peace to your house again.

I am so happy I am getting notifications now! I had to change my email address away from sbc for them to start working again.

On a sad note, my SIL has left my brother (the one who is sick). I am in tears. This is so not good. His anxiety and depression with his illness has taken its toll on their family. I am devastated. They will be going to counseling separately, but right now she does not want to work on it. He has a big fault in this, but she has not once said anything. He is now on Paxil and feels like a ton of bricks has hit him. I am praying praying this is what is needed to maybe have him get help and hopefully allow them to reunite when the time is right. She loves him, but cannot take the constant ailing. Its all just so sad :'(

Whew time to catch up!

Hang- Happy belated birthday young lady! man, that's crazy about the 1200 for the few appts you had. At least it didn't count towards a complete cycle. The house hunting sounds like fun. It's a buyer's market and that price is awesome for 4 bedrooms! Sorry about the bug you've guys have been battling. I took DHEA for my last cycle. I think it really does help. Where are you in the cycle?

Motox- Miss R is too much! She is such a happy baby! You have such a beautiful family! Sorry to hear about your bro. Is he the one that got the lyme disease? I really hope they can work things out. I also hope that your health quickly improves so you can start getting ready for you FET. Where your embies frozen at day 5 too? I didn't realize that some times they freeze at day 3 too.

Zohbee- Had a dream last night that you delivered your little girl and posted the video online. It was kinda funny because you were all dressed up for the delivery. Heels, makeup, jewelry, and a fancy updo! lol!

Kez-Still having a hard time posting comments on your blog. Sounds like you are doing better. Have you tried the game yet? lady, you are daring! how do you thing Dh is going to react to the new hairdo? When are you gearing up for you FET?

Kierann-that kinda sucks about the money going to the stepson situation. Sorry about that. Is it still up in the air about his permanant residence? I hope things work out for you.

YiYi- any new Miss Sophia pics?

Hello everyone else!

AFm- busy, busy! Doing the 5K walk on Sunday! Bro's wedding is tomorrow! Still no word on the reception. My other older brother is in town too. Well the priest got off of suspension last week (nothing too bad, but this guy likes to stir up things for the archbishop. he's the radical priest that got in trouble a few years ago during the presidential election. He's a good guy though but tends to ruffle feathers)
It should be an interesting wedding. I checked their "honeyfund" page and it looks like no one has donated money. I will definately be posting wedding highlights on my blog next week.
My Boston turned 1 today. Baked her a cake and got her a kiddie pool.
Started Lupron on wednesday. My transfer date is for June 30th.

Babette yes we are anxiously awaiting the wedding details. June 30 th sounds like it might be in my area of transfer if I am able to finish this cycle. I am still waiting for AF to arrive. I am on my last pill of BCP that I was asked to take for 10 days to start it. Yesterday I forgot because I felt so awful but I am taking two today to make up for it.

Kierann sorry to hear about stepso and the money. Honestly things are not getting better. I really hope he gets residence elsewhere and maybe you guys can visit there instead of bringing the chaos into your house. It is strange that you said you had a sinus and ear infection that is exactly what I had. I am on my 5th day of antibiotics so hopefully it will be getting better.

[/b]Zohbee I hope you are taking it easy in your last stretch!! I know it is hard when you are still running around after a LO

AFM As I said above I am on antibiotics and some nasal spray that has steriods in it. I will call RE when AF arrives to see if I should sit out a cycle because of all the meds in my body. As far as the house, the offer died as they didn't even budge a cent- damn lawyers. I will wait for it to sit on the market for a while and then see about making another offer. IT is probably better that I wait as DH's work (real estate) is so inconsistent and in September I will be paying out $800 in daycare a month. I am thinking maybe I should hold out to see what the future brings. DH is hoping to start an apprenticeship as an Electrician. It is becoming quite frustrating because you have to get an employer to even be enrolled. The LO is starting to get better after his his diagnosis of ear, nose, throat and eye infeciton. Poor kid is there any other issue this child can have. Oh yes, yesterday he cracked his head on my inlaws steal screen door. I went back to work today so I only had two days of work this week but I am on the upswing - Thank God!

So ladies - I forgot to tell you about a REALLY strange coincidence I experienced. With work I am booking something at a convention centre in the area. I received an email from the Event Manager stating all of the suppliers they use for all the required services. So it turns out that someone I dated when I was 27 is one of the contacts. He was actually the last guy I seriously dated before meeting DH. We dated for awhile and then I backbacked (previously planned) across NZ, AUS, Fiji and Hawaii. I told him that since we were apart for 8 months we should just break up and then see what happens upon our return. Well - he visited my family, hung out with my friends, we wrote letters and called at least once a week. So upon my return we broke up as I think he ran like a scared dog because he thought things were getting too serious. Little did he know that I really wasn't ready for anything anyways. So he lived in a city that was about 1 hour away yet grew up in the same city that I work in now. Small world eh?? (sorry Canadian expression). I saw him maybe two years after we broke up and we kind of "got together again" and the really haven't spoken or seen each other since then. Now I may have to email him about this event. Strange!!! Far too strange!!

Babatte: I am glad I am glamorous in your dreams. Definitely not me in real life!

Hang: To weird about the ex. Have you contacted him?

Motox: How is brother doing?

Kierann: Hope you are feeling better. How is the stepson issue?

Kez: Eddie loves "Wizard Of Oz" So we got a bunch or balloons, paper goods, and cake with the theme. He will love it. I will post pics. How about a pic of your new hair!

AFM: Had contractions all day Sunday and on and off Monday. Started to think I might be having this baby early. But they stopped. I am only 37 weeks so didn't really want to have her yet. It reminded me how unprepared I am! I did however get a c-section scheduled for July 8th. My doctor is going out of town after that day so I wanted to make sure that if I was going to get a c-section he was the one doing it. He did my first and I had really no pain or issues afterwards. I will be 41 weeks and 5 days at that point so guessing I will not be using that appointment anyways. I am still trying for a VBAC.
