almost 34 & TTC #2 (DH would say practicing TTC, lol)

Postby mrsh03 » Mon Apr 18, 2011 3:16 pm

I'm turning 34 this month, my DD just turned 2 and I'm feeling the urge for #2. Anyone in the same boat? DH isn't on board, YET, but it only takes once! DD was conceived after BDing only once, lol.

According to FF my O day is today! We BD 2 days prior, so there is a chance, but a very small chance. Not sure FF is right. I temped and used OPK's last pregnancy, but only using OPK's this time. This cycle my OPK was never positive, but dark. I'm using diff tests than last time, so perhaps it was a positive. We shall see. I am in no rush, but before 35 would be nice, heehee.

GL to all my 30-somethings :o) Looking forward to chatting with you.

I know what you mean about the different OPK's. I used to use the little strips that come 20 in a container, and I'd get 2-4 days of positives on those. The last couple of months I've been using the bigger ones, that you can pee directly on, that just come 7 to a box and I barely get one day of positive with them. I keep wondering if it was something different I did those months or if the tests are really different. Interesting to hear someone else mention it though.

Good luck with ttc! Our little boy just turned 2 a few days ago, and I most definitely have baby fever.

I have used several diff strips and the larger OPK tests b4 and they all give diff results. The larger sticks seem more accurate bc they are more sensitive and the strips never really seem to give me a true positive. This is my first cycle using these particular brand of strips. I just have to get used to them.

My baby fever is low right now, but I know as soon as I hit 34 in a couple weeks, I will start the countdown to have a baby before I turn 35. Boy, my plan to have 4 by 35 sure didnt work out like I thought, hahaha.

Diff topic....are u potty training yet? My little one was just switched into the next level classroom where they help w/ potty training. I can now really try potty training and I'm so excited.
