Bilson, sorry to hear about AF. Cramps suck! My cycle changed after my MC too so I guess that is normal. :( I hope we have better luck soon! XO

and tweaked:

Taken within time limit and I can see a faint pink thick line IRL. :omg:

I'm so shocked right now. I think this may be for real!

I'm not telling the hubs yet, it's only 11 DPO so I want to make sure it's for real and maybe I can hold off til Father's Day!!! :shh:

If it's real, I am praying that it's sticky!!! :praying:

Monica I posted in the POAS thread but that looks great!!!! I think you got a bun in the oven honey!!! :jump: :jump: I think waiting till Father's Day is a great surprise but I don't know that I could do that. I don't do good with keeping secrets.

Luna and Blison yucky AF I hate her. So sorry your having a hard time. Luna I want to hear/read your plan kup.

Blison after my m/c my cycles were really crampy and painful for a month or two. I always wondered if it was b/c the let me m/c naturally and didn't do a d/c.

AFM I ams still sick as a dog. I find myself wishing for the next trimester so this is over. I was never this sick with the boys this is not fun. But I know it will so be worth it. I stayed home from the farm this weekend and actually spent all of Saturday in my pj's laying around trying to keep food down. Today we are having a cookout at school for our students. Well not really a cookout I got out voted so they are cooking hot dogs in the crock pots. Anyway I got sick this morning so I was late to school and my co-teachers are cranky with me. I know it's really just b/c it's the last two days and we all have so much to do. But ughhhhh I'm like I'd much rather have been here early than to have been sick this morning guys. oh well. This too shall pass.
Hope everyone is having a great Monday.

We are now 2 out of 4, which in my opinion makes this a really lucky thread/group.

Morrigan, I posted in the POAS forum too about your :bfp: ! I would have a hard time keeping the secret until FD's too like Lesley said but It would be a cool surprise either way!

Thanks ladies! Sorry for the giant pic.

Bilson~Sorry you're so sick! I hope this passes for you soon. Do the co-teachers know you're preggo? At least school will be over soon so you'll have some more rest.

I don't know if I can last til father's day either. For now, I just want to last until Friday (when AF is due). I wanna make sure the test line keeps getting darker, etc. Once Friday comes along, I will see if I can handle one more week of keeping this secret!

I am having such a hard time concentrating at work today!

Welcome BabyDreams!!! :hi:

Monica how were today's test??? :bfp: :bfp:
I no longer take my bp at home I used to at least twice aday when they were working on my meds and stuff but now that I'm regulated I don't so much. I still have my machine and will begin taking it again if it is up at my doctor's appointment. The medication I'm on I take twice a day and my regular doctor told me depending on how my bp does I can take it up to 4 times a day but to wait and see what my ob says. For now I'm pretty steady in the one teens to 120 and over 78-84 so not bad.

Today is the last day of school and normally I'm really sad to see my kids go. I love teaching and I love my kids. But this year I'm so glad it's over. I'm tired of trying to work through this m/s with work. But crazy me had already applied to teach summer school. I'm so wishing I wasn't teaching now but as with everything it will be over quick and at least I can leave at noon and take a nap. :D
I agree with Luna this is a pretty lucky thread 2out of 4 now 5 have got our BFP!!!! It'll will happen for all of us I'm positive.

:welcome: Baby Dreams! Do you have any special plans for this month? (sorry, just read you are on a break sortof this cycle) I have heard of the spirulina before. Isn't it some kind of sea kelp? What is it for? Also, what does grape seed extract do? I am glad you joined us!

Teaching Mom--yay! School's out for summer. I hope you get the rest you need.

Morrigan--Did you decide on when to tell your hubby? I

Bilson--How are you doing?

AFM: Ok so after much contemplating, I have decided that we were going to NTNP for the months of June and July. I am still going to temp because I want to keep an eye on my temps in case there may be an elusive hypothyroid issue going on. As for supplements, I am still going to take a pre-natal vitamins, false unicorn root, and vitex. I am also giving DP (who is now DF) false unicorn root too. I could only find it available in a tincture so I am putting it in gel caps and them taking it because it tastes and smells atrocious.

TTC the past two cycles really has gotten me down and seems like it is putting performance stress on both of us. Because I am STILL in school, March/April due dates wouldn't be the best for us but if it did happen then I would deal. But since I am so close to graduation, I thought we would just NTNP for a couple of months. I think I have to work on my emotional and mental health. Obsessing becomes so draining. And the :bfn: is so depressing. I am not going to test until I am officially late too I have decided. This is going to take restraint and discipline on my part but I think it will be better for me. Somehow I need to find a way to make peace with the fact that it may never become pregnant again. So I need to develop some coping skills and figure out how to go on with my life and make it as healthy and productive as possible. I still have 5lbs to lose to be at my goal weight of 135lb. Those last 5lbs seems to be so hard to shake so I am going to go back on the first two weeks of the diet. I also want to reopen my etsy shop online and do some art projects so I am going to set deadlines for myself and put my energy into making them happen. So basically, for the next two months, I am going to regroup and refocus on my health and well being.

On a positive TTC note though, I did break down and do the FSH Cycle Day 3 test. I barely even got the second line on the test so I feel good about that.

Oh, and I think I may get a puppy. My doggie of 14 years passed away two years ago and I think I am ready to be a dog mommy again. I have been checking shelters here and maybe the right one will come along soon. I figured this summer while I am on break from school would be a good time to train a puppy.

I guess that's about all for now! I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning!

Luna~I like your plan. You'll take some pressure off yourselves. "Now DF"? Did you get engaged?! And you'll make yourself healthier both physicially and mentally. That sounds great! I'm curious what kinds of stuff you do on Etsy. I used to be a creative person. I painted, took photos, played the piano, and wrote. But as I got older I have neglected these things. So I noticed this two weeks ago and decided I need to do something about it. This is kind of simple but it's making me happy: I decided I would take and post one picture per day for a year. Yesterday was the 8th day that I've been able to do this. I post them on facebook. (I stole this idea from a friend). I'm glad your FSH test came out good! And puppy?! Awesome! I hope if you decide to get one you'll post a pic! I love dogs. I can't have any where we live, and my son really wanted pets so we now have two cats. At first I was not too pleased (not a cat person) but now I love them. Although they can be VERY annoying. I'm not sure if you posted this before but what are you in school for?

Babydreams~Hope you have fun on your off cycle! KUP!

Teachingmom~Thanks for letting me know about the BP. I am not on any meds. I have been taking my blood pressure at home though to keep an eye on it. The top number is always great. The bottom number goes anywhere from 72-85. I always get upset when it's in the 80s. This morning it was pretty good though! I will talk about this with the dr once I make my appointment. How much of a break do you have between the end of school and the beginning of summer school?

AFM~I'm still POAS. Here are today's results:

Image

I just love seeing that line get darker. I've started doing prenatal yoga in the mornings and meditating in the evenings. I'm still walking 2 miles/day but yesterday and today we're having a heat advisory so I skipped it. I've been trying to eat very healthy, taking my prenatals, fish oil, and baby aspirin. I called another specialist to see if he would take me. Will hear back from his office hopefully today or tomorrow. If not I will just make an appt with my old doctor and see if I can find someone better in the meantime.

Ooh and I think I came up with a way to tell DH (IF I can hold out that long). He's been wanting a new laptop bag. So I want to buy him a really nice bag and once he unwraps it tell him there's another surprise in there for him! And hopefully he'll find a positive pregnancy test in there. What do you guys think?

Yesterday, I went shopping with DH for two ppl who just had/are about to have 2nd babies. I thought it would be nice to buy a book for the older brothers (each one has an older son) about being a big brother. Then DH and I are having dinner while DS calls me. I tell him what we did and he asks (jokingly) "Did you get me anything?" and I said "Yes, I got you a book on being a big brother" (again, jokingly) and he got all excited and said "Are you serious?" and then realized I got it for the other boys and said "Oh you are so mean I thought you were pregnant and I got so excited." I felt so bad! But I couldn't tell him I actually am pg! I so hope this baby sticks. It really made my son sad when I lost the other pg and I didn't even realize how badly he took it until earlier this year when we talked about it.

I'm sorry about the long post! Hope everyone has a great day! :D

sorry girls i miss you all.T'was work,work,work.
Lunaluna, grapeseed extract is an oxidant that works well with vitamin c to get rid of toxins from the body.spirulina is a blue green algea but its super food, contains proteins more than any meat or plant, has all the b vits, only lacks vit c.ok for more info google 'spirulina and/for fertility, specially recommended for 35 + ttc.Gl
am probably 3 or 4 dpo today, not sure if i O'got a + 4 days in a row and ran out of sticks, since am not into the headache of temping,am totally lost
