Didn't know I had an expiry date?

Postby meantangent » Sat May 28, 2011 3:45 pm

Anyone else here TTc after 35 find that people seem to think women have an expiry date that after 35 we are all used up. I have four children that walk with us and one that flies. We are looking to have one more baby. Which would be our number 6 technically. Well after people get passed that part I get the 3rd degree on our age. For crying out loud I am only 36. I didn't expire on my last birthday and my doctor has given us his blessings to TTC once more. So what is the big deal anyway.?

I did ask and he said that the odds doe nit really increase all that much until closer to forty. Anyway just a vent

LOL, Oh I hear you..people always have an opinion on everything don't they?? I do wonder what a "proper"age to have babies is..in your 20s people say oh youre too young, in your 30's youre too old..just let it slide..or do what I do..don't tell people your age and don't tell them youre trying!!

It does make me laugh. We actually didn't tell anyone we were even pregnant last time until I couldn't hide it. When people questioned us I just said it never came up lol. It saves hassle. It is funny however when you start to show but not quite yet and you can tell people are looking and wondering. Amazes me they have an opinion but yet are afraid to ask when it is so obvious lol. I am not sour milk yet. :)
