Sorry for delay a little crazy around here. I had my c section on July 24 th and was sent home on the morning of the 26th. I wasn't too impressed with the nurses so I was happy to go home although recovery is slow at home. So Kennedy was born at 8 lbs 5 oz at 11:54 am. Once she was delivered they had a difficult getting her to breathe properly. I was so worried s they continued to suction out the mucus. They quickly moved her to take a stomach exray as I lay in recovery without being updated. It wa the longest 1.5 hours of my life. Everything turned out fine. She just ad extensive trapped mucus and air in her tummy. My evenings at the hospital were brutal as I was on my own, couldn't get out of bed yet they handed me my baby each night and said she won't settle but don't fall asleep with her in your bed. They never returned. I used the call button but they arrived an hour later and by then I has to get across the room while lifting the baby, change and then attempt to get back into bed all with a catheter. I was not impressed. Anyways evenings are not homing well as she screams in what I assume is stomache pain. I am having a flashback of when my son was a newborn and was allergic to dairy. I will know more on Monday. In the meantime, I am lucky to get two hours of sleep each night.

Hang - poor LO. I hope she gets to feeling better. I know it can't be easy. It exhausting just getting up for normal feeding time. My LO is 19 months and she will still cry for just a few second and go back to sleep. However once I am Up I cannot go back to sleep. Combine that with
Me working nights and I have not slept good in a very long time.

Hang-congrats on your baby girl!!! How nice and big! These guys are getting bigger and are out of premies and in NB but can't wait for them to be 8lbs.
Girl I am sorry abOut your hospital stay. That's such bs. I feel bad for being mad because maternity was so filled, that I didn't get the suite I was promised. I had a regular private maternity room and I guessing should count my blessings that the nurses took good care of me during those 4 days and took the babies to the nursery when I sometimes slept and at night.I feel like an idiot for being upset after hearing your story. Sorry mama I hope you have a bit of help at home to helP you recover.
Looking forward to pics of your new baby!!

Afm-actually making it work but the realization of what I've been through in the past 2 months is starting to catch up with me. I fear ppd more than anything. My therapist is out of the country but set me up with sub, the one that helped me a DH after the missed miscarriage. Hope to see her thus week. Took our NB pics hope to get them today or tomorrow.

Babette I am glad they took great care of you. You needed it. As for ppd I am basically following the same pattern as before crying for no reason. I am also living on two hours of sleep nightly do that doesn't help. My DE actually answered the question about my well being to the pediatrician after I said all is fine and he added she cries all the time

Babatte and Hang - I was the same for at least 2 or 3 weeks after delivery. Crying a whole lot and emotions really intense. After that I was fine.

Afm - On Day 3 of cycle. My AF has only been lasting 2 days since last d&c. That isn't good is it? I haven't felt good either since last d & c. I am tired but LO still wakes me up and I work nights on weekends. I know it is affecting my moods and ability to think straight but maybe it's affecting my fertility too.

Kierann-after a dc the lining can be a but thin for a bit and moght need to recover a bit. And yes I believe mood, fatigue, and nutrition can affect it.

Hang- sorry you are being hit hard by the Ppd. Hope you've gotten a few nights where things aren't so bad. I think I'm doing okay with the nights. It's just that DH gets up and instead of helping. He's in the way. Trying to micromanage things. Last night he was up the same time as the babies in the bathroom screaming about something in his eye and for me to come help.

Afm- making it work best I can. Dr said I have to take it easier. Still quite weak but things have to be done. Here's the photographers blog with some of our NB pics. Yeah had to break the piggy bank open. No really gonna take my coins to the bank to pay for these wow!! But these arey first and last babies.

Babette. The pictures are beautiful! I agree who cares about the money this is the only time you will have your twins at this age. Since this is my last child I am the same view. I am glad you guys are settling in. At night we have it down to a system but DH manages to throw a loop into it once and a while. I just think they completely get the idea that timing is important. We are battling to keep her from waking our little guy with her crying in the middle of the night. The first night we had her, him and me crying for most of the night. Her health issues are settling but they are concerned about her weight gain for the week. I think it was because if her allergy and stomach issues so that should get better.

Oh gosh, I've missed so much  First of all congrats Babette and Hang!

Babette: I'm so sorry you had to go through the emergency hysterectomy, but so glad to hear the babies are perfect and did not have to spend any time in nicu. The pictures are so beautiful. You've been through so much. i'm just so happy you've finally been blessed with two beautiful babies. Alson I love the names.

Hang: How awful to hear about you hospital experience. But I cant wait to see picutes of Kennedy. What a nice size she is too. I'm sorry to hear about the dairy allergy. I hope it gets better soon.

Kez: congrats on the bfp! How did your beta go? I'm rooting for you and your bean!

Motox: so glad to hear dh is working again. I hope you pain stays under control for your new ttc journey.

Kierann: how was Disney? We have been meaning to take Sophia for ages, but things always seem to come up.
To answer a question you asked a while back, there is no breast cancer in my immediate family, but we just discovered that I have a cousin who did have it a few years ago. She is doing fine now.

Afm: I've had some ups and downs the last few months. The second half of my treatment has been especially hard because of the side effects, which have left me in a lot of pain. There are days when I can barely move and I did experience some severe bouts of depression. I am feeling much better at the moment both physically and mentally. My last injection is on Monday, which i am both looking forward to amd dreading because of the two weeks of pain afterwards.
One thing I've come to realize is that my ferility is gone. I will likely go through early menopause and even if i was able to retain my period, the anti cancer drugs I will take after chemo will not allow me to get pregnant. I have to take these drugs for at least 5 years. So i am coming to grips with Sophia being our only child unless we adopt.

YiYi - Glad to see your treatment is ending and you are feeling better. I know it must be very tough. I saw on Guillian and Bill show where she has to take tamoxifen for 5 years post her mastectomy. From what I saw on that show it sounds like a very good drug for this. I am not sure how you are feeling about losing your fertility. You know this is the perfect place to talk that out. (:

Kez - How are you doing? I pray all is going well.

Motox - Any solid FET plans yet?

AFM - I have worried myself sick over the back and forth decision on if I should go from working nights to days. I cannot believe I am having such a hard time with this. Nights means more money and better pace which eqauls less stress. Yet, the lack of sleep is in my opinion slowly killing me. I have been reading about how bad it is for you. Some people which is me apparently does not tolerate it well. I have the option to go back to days which is more stressful and 20% less money. However, I feel healthier and was able to keep my weight down better and feel better on days. I have gained so much I am afraid to step on the scale. LO is still waking up at least once during the night even if it is only for a few seconds. However it wakes me up and I get no restful sleep. My anxiety and depression I am so prone to is getting worse. AHHHHHHHH!!! Its driving me nutts. It seems like going back to days is the obvious answer but its the stress of the days that actually scares me at this point even though I worked them for 4 and half years. Thanks for reading my worries. Feels better to type it out.

On another note I been taking a baby asprin as well as coq10. We will see how long my cycles are now. Due to start tommorow.
