Yiyi, i just want to give you a big hug. I have a friend who just beat breast cancer and is also on tamoxifin. if it helps at all, the s/e (for her) are tolerable. Once you recover from your treatment, hopefully you can exercise some, i hear it helps with the s/e. I am so sorry to hear about the pain. I pray it is short lived and you will feel like you have a new life when you are done! As for the fertility, :hugs: its just not fair to be cut short like that. i think adoption would be a great option when you come to that point though. in my prayers girl.

hang - how is that little baby doing? we really need some pics ;)

kez - how are you feeling?

kierann - hmmmm, tough decision. I vote for sleep (but thats just me) :) .

babette - how are the babies doing?

no signs of FET here for a while. After being out of work for so long, we have a large hole to dig out of, plus i am not 100%...BETTER but not yet feeling capable of being pg yet. I am going to be using a special machine (way too much to get into) that my brother (with lyme) was using...he is getting a newer better version). Am hoping it might kick me over the edge of healing and maybe we will be closer!

Hi Ladies
Hang how is Kennedy doing?? Hope shes being good for you!!

Yiyi, glad to hear your treatment is almost done. It really sux about your fertility, but being in USA you do have options for a second child if you want it. I'm sure Sophia will be fine either way, but it sucks having the decision taken away.

Keirann, it is a tough decision. For myself the less stress option would be good esp if it comes with extra cash, but if it is making you unhealthy, then that stress benefit will go out the window and isn't worth the extra money if youre unwell and going to the doctor to sort it out! No help at all am i??LOL. I'm sure you will figure it out, even if its days most of the time and the occasional week of nights to top up the bank balance.

Motox, have you got work yet? yeah, I think you need to get your body healthy before trying to get pregnant. How many embryos do you have left? good luck with the machine, hope it helps!

AFM..well I am currently 8 weeks pregnant, but gosh it was a frustrating first beta. Id been having the positive pee sticks, got the blood taken and my nurse calls and tells me its NEGATIVE!!. We were devastated as we were totally expecting the congratulations call. I told her I was getting positive sticks, but she said my beta was 3 and definately negative. DH got me to take another pee stick and it still showed dark. so the next day I took another and it was darker. so i took pics of my sticks and sent them to my nurse and asked for another blood test.
She agreed it was fishy, so I got a second one and voila, beta was over 500. She'd already been on to the lab for a please explain and was very apologetic even though its not their fault (wasn't their lab). She called the next day and said they re ran the first one and it was over 250.
The lab rang me to say they were looking into it and to make sure I knew I was pregnant. My RE called me to make sure I knew I was pregnant. But I spoke to my nurse last week and she said she'd heard nothing from the lab as to what happened. She agrees with me that it looks like someone stuffed up and theyre not owning up.
The third beta was over 5000. Ive had my ultrasond and all was good, heartbeat etc..
so Im due early April..hope this one sticks!!

WOW KEZ!!!!!!!!! That is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!! Sucks that lab put you through the stress over the beta but sooooo happy for you!!!!!!!!!

YiYi - I think of you daily and hope everyday is getting better for you.

Babatte - How are you and the babies?

Motox - How is your brother doing now? I just found out an old friend I have not talked to in many years also has lyme disease. She had been sleeping all the time and had no energy.

Hang - How are you doing?

AFM - Thanks for the input ladies. I kept on going back and forth on my decision about working nights or days. I just wanted someone to tell me what to do. Just making the decision was making me a wreck. My mom, husband and you ladies all are for nights and I knew really that was what I needed to do. I told my boss and he is looking into when I can start back. So, now I already feel less stressed. I realized I have been operating on average at most 3-4 hours of sleep a night for the last 6 months. If that! As you know I have anxiety issues and its made my anxiety so much worse. I am clenching my teeth a whole lot. Even though my shifts are less stressful the lack of sleep is a big stress on my body.

YiYi-I think of you often and you are in my prayers. You are now on the road to recovery. Stay strong sister.

Hang- waiting for pics of the new Princess mama!!

Kierann-sleep patterns can really effect your weight. I myself was a nightowl. I loved working the pm sched when flying. If we had redeye flights I would have done it. But funny it does effect the metabolism in some ways and it really effects mood. The drpravation could be triggering your anxiety in some ways. Is there anyway you can try a different sched w/o committing to it?

Motox- hang in there girl. These times are kicking all of our butts. Can't wait until things ease up and you can go ahead with your FET.

Kez-can't wait for the next us. As the twins outgrow things, I'm putting them aside for you. Excited to pass the little outfits on. I'm thinking team pink for you.

AFM- making it work. Yup, I get help 1 or 2 days a week from my niece who loves babies. She's very good with them. Teaches me things. Her mom used to run a daycare but now teaches special Ed kids. Knock on wood, I'm doing quite well so far w/o any ppd. Really miss my mama, do damn bad though. Babies are gaining weight so well. Roman is 10lbs and Asha is 8. I stick to a tight sched with the feedings. We have s binder where we record feedings and amounts along with pps and poppies. It really helps, the pediatrician thinks we are funny for doing it. Sometimes I want to toss the thing in the trash. Had my 6 week appt. I still have my ovaries, tubes, and cervix. I will ovulate but have litlle or no period. My emergency surgery was due to acretia. The placenta had attached through the uterus and wouldn't detach causing me to almost bleed to death. scary but I'm okay with it.

Babatte - I was looking up acretia because I was not familiar and found one way it can happen is after someone had an over agressive d & c. That is scary. I am so glad you and the babies are okay. I plan to call my OB tomorrow to set up appointment to discuss options to determine if I have any scarring from my d&cs. My gut is telling me there is something wrong.

AFM - I know my nickname on here is Bristol but it is me kierann. I forgot my password because computer kept up but now suddenly I needed to enter it. I decided WTH I will just start a new account. My name is not kierann anyway it is Kim but using LOs name for sign on.

Sorry I have been MIA. I forgot how difficult this newborn phase is and then add a two and a half yearold. I think the Baby blues are
Ightning up a bit. I haven't had a good cry in a few days. LO had a dairy allergy and acid reflux so it has been a tough go and very little sleep. She sleeps for hours on me but that isn't helpful when trying to get anything done. I have learned to sleep with her on me as best as I can but it isn't a solid sleep. It is only for the last three or four hours from her middle of the night feed. Napping has been a huge issue as it takes 40 min to get her down and it lasts 20 min. So frustrating

I swear!! I had this long post and just lost it at the end!!! AAAHHHH I hate that!

I am going for a shorten version of what I typed now.

Kez!! I am so sorry I did not say Congratulations on your lab results and US!! I having been using my I Phone a lot for checking messages and guess I must have missed it trying to navigate the site with that thing. I hope everything is still going well. I cant wait to see pics of the baby!!

Motox - I forgot my facebook password so I have not been on it in forever.

AFM - Went to new PCP who is checking Thyroid, Vitamin D and CHolesterol levels. I also have sleep consultation Friday as I told her I snore really loud per my husband. I wanted her to also check levels to decide whether to take DHEA but I dont think she did that test. I should ovulate today or tommorow. I have not used OPK this cycle or last. I find my efforts to TTC waining as time goes on. I have gained all the weight back I lost when I was pregnant which sucks but I start working days in a couple of weeks and hope the weight starts coming off. I feel even more unhealthy than the last time i reported I was unhealthy. I hope though that I get back on track.

It has gotten sloooow on here but I know everybody has so much going on. I went to OB yesterday and he was not concerned about scarring from D & C. He said they use suction and plastic instruments and he can't remember the last time he saw a case of ashermans. He said it use to be a issue before they changed instruments. He also said he was willing to do 3 unmonitored clomid cycles adding estrace to help increase lining. However, I am not sure how I feel about that because I ended up with a cyst last time I used it. Unmonitored it could have been a bad thing if I would have continued the next cycle. However, I have been reading 3 months of unmonitored clomid cycles are not uncommon. Also, found out my vitamin D levels are low even though I have been taking calcium with vitamin d for a while now. So I imagine I was extremely deficient before that. All other tests are okay. I am going to make my mammogram appointment and get my sleep consult next week. Then I am back on the day shift and hopefully back on track.

Re: 37 + TTC #1 Part 62

Well, I had finally gotten my password on facebook but I am very ignorant about how that works. I am afraid I am going to post something that everyone can see also my sister in law told me she received something on there intended to go to someone else. That makes me nervous as this is top secret stuff I post on here.

I am CD6 right now. I picked up my clomid and estrace but decided not to take it this cycle. I just had my mammogram Friday and wanted to get the results of that before I start taking anything. Good decision apparently because I have already received a call to come back and see them tommorow at 9AM because they saw something in both breasts. I had been told prior to the mammogram to not freak out if I get a call for a follow up because it is not unusual since they do not have another film to compare it too. Anyway, of course you still dont want to hear something like that so at first my heart sank into my stomach but quickly recovered and regardless will deal with whatever it is. I have had breast reduction surgery before so hoping this is just scar tissue they see. Also, had a consult with a sleep doctor and he said his gut tells him I have moderate to severe sleep apnea based on his exam of me and everything I was telling him. So next week off to a sleep study to be sure. If I do have this then it will definitely explain a whole lot that has been going on with me. I googled everything it can cause and its just about everything wrong with me and how I feel.

Hope everyone is doing okay!

[/b]Babette I have to tell you I don't know how you are doing this with twins. Currenty still struggling to get her to adequate sleep. She as been on a routine since birth EASY from the baby whisperer. Unfortunately it takes hoursto get her to sleep at night still. I hate to wish time away but I can't wait until my LOs can play together as he ignores her at this point.

I am starting to feel a little better. I still feel guilt tat my little guy is at daycare most days until we get settled. She s unable to sleep when he is home as we live in a small house which is another issue. Unfortunately DH isn't as involved with her care as he was with my son as she is much more challenging and I don't think he is confident enough. This leaves me stuck in the house as the weather is too old to get out. I don't thinks helping either. I have lost almost 50 pounds which is good as I only gained 26 with the pregnancy. My goal is five more pounds. It has just sort of fallen off which is good I guess.

Hey ladies!
YiYi- how are you doing. Been thinking about you a lot lately.

Motox- have things gotten better? This economy really sucks. Are you back on sched for FET?

Hang- I'm actually managing with the twins. I lost 50 lbs right off the back but that was probably all the fluid in my
Body from the twins. I would love to lose the weight I put on during the ivf cycles. Hubbie's says I look good but I want to get a but more off plus reestablish my ab muscles. They took a beating from the twin pregnancy and c- sec. Roman has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks now. asha still wakes around 4 am for a feeding and with a vengeance. I understand the DH thing. Mine is super busy because of a promotion. When he gets home he wants to play games on his phone. I finally put my foot down and got him back on sched with the twins care. I would send him to make bottles for the night and he would be gone for an hour. Sitting there playing that freaking game. I would be waiting for him to come back to the nursery to watch the twins so I could also pump breastmilk. So angry by that time my milk wouldn't let down. I getcha with the frustration.

Bristol- please update us on the results. When you log onto FB you can click on the TWW on the left hand side. No one but us can see what you post or comment in there. Others can't see any activity you do there but us. We've tested the crap out of that.
