Help..Sooo sad. Low HCG and slow rising...

Postby mandy747 » Thu Nov 21, 2013 1:50 am

Hi all,

I just came off the pill and got a *very* faint positive 10dpo. I kept testing daily and it gradually got darker, but slowly and still not as dark as the control line.

I had a blood test 12dpo and the levels were 21. I had another blood test 16dpo and the levels were 26. I have done more HPTs which continue to show the same colour, maybe slightly darker. I am fretting that it is not progressing and that it will end up being a chemical.

Does anyone have any good stories? Or if not, how long does it take for the chemical to take place. I have no cramping or bleeding. I just want this to be over - either way. The not knowing is killing me.

Do not give up hope. I am not experienced in this issue, but I did some digging and it seems that slow rising can be just fine! Have you done another blood test? I will pray that you will know soon and have peace...but I will pray even harder that you have a normal healthy pregnancy! :D

Sorry Mandy.

Keep an eye on it. If it does not end in a chemical it might still be worth getting checked out. I don't know what my betas were (they don't do them here), but my tests darkened slowly as well. This can be a sign of ectopic.

I hope you know one way or the other soon. Wishing you the best.
