I KNOW RIGHT?!?!

I'm very pleased that it does seem that I ovulated yesterday which is GREAT because I had stupidly booked this business trip during my fertile time. I left this morning and will be gone for a few days so now I shouldn't have to worry about missing BD during my fertile time.

How are you doing?!?! Feeling good??? Have you told anyone in your real life yet?

Hi yall! Sorry I was out for a couple of days. Emsy did you get a bfp?
I have been feeling out thia month as its been pretty hectic and for the next two months I have to be traveling so I'm sure I won't bd during fertile myrtle but alas today as I was sitting in meeting all day I have felt so queasy. .. could it be bfp or last night's dinner? I have hidden all hpt in my desk at work so I won't be tempted at home when I have time to think about it. Af is due saturday! Hope she stays away as this is my last month to try for a while. How are yall doing?

bmclean - you were going to test Saturday...did you?!?!?! :luck:

Emsy - I haven't even ovulated yet  I think I might be having an annovulatory cycle. At any rate, I decided that after today I'm not trying any more this cycle. I did the math and if I ovulated later this week the baby would be due the same week as Xmas which isn't ideal to me since we already have a lot of family with birthdays xmas week and it honestly sucks for the kids. I totally get that most would still try and I was almost going to but this is the right decision for me. So I won't be trying anymore this month. Sigh.

Hey happy froggy, I hear you about the Christmas saga.. Myself and most of my family are Christmas week babies!!!

I have sadly had a missed miscarriage.. They are doing as hysteroscopy on Monday to remove all the pieces that won't come out..

They have said to wait for the first AF and then try again so I guess I'll be TTC again in May sometime.

Going to start false unicorn next week as well as the other bits I was on as seemed to get a BFP quickly but it never took off properly with the HCG levels..

EMSY I am soooo sorry :(

Also, sorry for the delay in my response, I was away at a work conference and wasn't able to see this until now.

UGH that is not the update I wanted to hear. Just know that I am here for you. :hugs:

Sorry what is the false unicorn?

Be kind to yourself at this time.

Hey happy froggy, OMG i see you have BFP!!!!!!!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the delay in reply, i got so fed up with it all this month i kind of gave up.

False Unicorn root is apparently a wonder drug for getting pregnant and staying pregnant (not that you need it now!! It apparently can also stop a miscarriage that has started!!) However, due to my defeatist attitude this month i kind of stopped taking all my supplements and just had a month enjoying everything i am not supposed to!!! eek...

I am feeling back on form now though and ready to take it all on again but my chart is doing my head in - impossible to read since the MC.

What's your success story??!! Any tips?!

xx

Oh interesting! I've never heard of that herb in my life!

Thanks for your excitement :D I did get BFP while you away.

After a whole year I feel like there is no secret tips! I think the right sperm has to meet the right egg at the right time and everything has to line up just right which can TAKE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!! It's such a weird process.

Right now I'm hoping for a sticky bean as I'm still in the scary first trimester. Can't wait to be out of it. Plus the nausea is really getting to me. :puke:

I think it's great you took a little break. The whole TTC thing is so overwhelming. It can drive you insane!

I'm kind of enjoying the charting it's become a hobby!

You're the only other person I've come across with such long term Mirena! Did you AF during that time? I didn't.. I was surprised to see a positive opk to be honest and more surprised to see a temp increase.

I was worried about the long term Mirena effects as I think it was fairly new when we got it.. Hope all goes well for you this month! Helps to know your 5 day window to maximise your chances! Happy opk-ing!

Late to the party here, but... I had 2 Mirena's over the course of 10.5yrs... Got the 2nd one removed last May, did BCP for 4mo, and am now TTC#1. I had a period every month on Mirena (although they were lighter after the first 2-3yrs). Think I ovulated, too, based on cramping... My periods now, a year AFTER Mirena, are still pretty light. Wonder what that might mean for my chances?

Hey RoloCat - i did get pregnant straight away but sadly ended in a mmc at 8 weeks... It has given me hope that there is (new)life after Mirena!!

I am not sure if i ovulated since the mmc as my charts have been all over the place but feeling hopeful!

Its good news you've been ovulating, that was my biggest fear!

Lets pray for a successful summer!! :-)
