Hello Everyone!

Postby breatheme » Sat Jan 24, 2015 5:02 am

Hi to all of you TTC

First of all thank you ladies for all your posts, blogs and insight. I have learnt so much about fertility that I never knew existed.

I am a newbie here, 35 years old and OH is 36. This is our 5th cycle TTC baby no.1. So far I've been quite positive about the whole process, thinking it will happen when it happens. But I have had the occasional wobble when a close friend and two cousins announced their baby news. Luckily OH is not as emotional as me and always manages to lift me out of the funk :)

This is the first time using OPKs and charting with Fertility Friend. It feels great to have some sort confirmation of what my body is up to instead of just relying on EWCM which was what we've been doing before.

I've got one OPK + on CD15 and today I got my first cross hair on my chart on CD16! My chart looks a bit erractic though because I haven't quite gotten the hang of taking the reading at exactly the same time every morning.

According to my chart I am 4DPO. Any one want to buddy up?

I'm 4 dpo too. Have you convinced yourself that this is THE month and you are pregnant yet? Because I have. I'm always a mess during the TWW.

4dpo as well...I have learned to try and relax during the tww, but its not easy. How do you all handle the stress of waiting?

Hi Paigeh27, Hi britney1663

Yes that's me too! Every month I think, this month it will happen but so far AF cramps 13DPO is a sure sign of AF the next day :( TWW is such an emotional roller coaster. I like to read BFP stories during this time because it gives me hope. You know we used to be told: 'it only takes ONE time to get pregnant!!'. So I was pretty disappointed that I didn't happen, just like that. Now i've learnt so much about fertility and how long it has taken others to fall pregnant. I understand that being a bit older, it can take a little longer.

Anyways, how are you both doing? Today is 5DPO and I don't feel any different. What about you guys? Do you feel any twinges?

Yeah, sometimes I feel like I spent a lot of money on birth control for nothing!
I'm dpo 5 as well. I have super smell which is how I knew I was pregnant last time, and I've had the most vivid dreams! So I am hopeful but trying to keep it under wraps since I have been wrong before! But that means I have to distract myself and I was a cleaning machine yesterday and did my taxes so this TWW will be productive no matter what.

I have zero symptoms, but I'm OK with that...I realize that I may not have any symptoms so early. It took everything I had not to test this morning, but I just know its too early and I don't want to see a bfn. I too enjoy reading others bfp stories during the tww.
