Back again

Postby Ruby7277 » Mon Sep 07, 2015 5:13 pm

I wanted to Re-introduce myself. I was on TWW about 7 years ago and tried and stalked and finally had my son Which is now 6. I also have 2 daughters ages 5 and about to be 3 in a few days. When i had my last daughter i thought i was mentally finished having kids. Now i regret that..so regret that decision. I have done research after research to see if it's maybe possible to get pregnant again with my tubes burned. Some people say it can happen but it's a higher risk for ectopic pregnancy so this is where i'm starting. I'm on "Officially" trying cycle #2. I have a feeling if i don't get pregnant within 5 years of trying i'm going to give up. It's going to be a long wait i Know. My other children weren't so easy to conceive but it happened when i was giving up. I hope i don't get judgement for this since i regret my huge horrible decision. I wish i could go back in time. I'm glad to be back in the TWW community and hopefully make some great friends and get great advice :)

My old screen name was Ruby727 but since i haven't been on in years i had to make a new one :D

Hi ruby- welcome back! I'm curious what you mean by ttc while having burnt tubes? Im guessing you were "fixed" after your last baby right? Is that what you mean by burnt? Lol I'm sorry if I sound dumb, I have no clue how that works. Anyhow, did you have a reversal? Best of luck to you in your journey!

Our is a possibility for your body to heal back. It happened to my husband. He had a vasectomy after out DD was born but now one of his times healed itself so we decided to ttc again. We knew it wouldn't be as easy as the first two but we are still giving it a go.

Hi ladies I'm sorry i'm just replying. Yes i did mean i was "fixed" and had my tubes burnt. I was under a lot of pressure from my doctor and family to get my tubes tied so i caved thinking it was the best decision for me but i regret it. Well some good news is that i did get a BFP at 9dpo but it turned out to be a chemical so i'm actually on AF right now. And no we haven't had a reversal i'm kinda leaving it in Gods hands and if i get pregnant i would hope that the baby is in the right spot to grow. They say a lot of women who do what i'm trying to do have a Ectopic pregnancy. It's a very high risk, but i'm willing to get it a try. Thank you girls for welcoming me back in :)

Welcome back!

I'm sorry I too am a little confused by your post. So you've done nothing but change your mind about ttc again? By that I mean no medical procedures? I guess I'm wondering what's the difference in going about your usual bd routine thinking you couldn't get pregnant and now other than the potential charting, opks, etc.

Why would your doctor persuade you to burn your tubes? That just seems kind of inappropriate... just wondering if I should beware of evil doctors...

I'm sorry i'm feeling like i'm all the sudden getting ganged up So sorry. yes be aware of doctors trying to persuade you ladies if you don't feel like your done then don't do it. I got pregnant before my tubes were burnt and by burnt i mean like i was in the middle of a csection and then that's how they did the tubal ligation. I'm sorry i came and said anything at this point i thought i would get support from you girls but i'll back off at this point. Good luck ladies hope nothing but H&H 9 months to you all.

Ruby, I don't think any of the ladies meant to gang up. We are all here to support each other. I think they are concerned that you may put yourself thru a lot of stress trying with the tubal without consulting a doctor. I wish you the best of luck and hope that yoy get you BFP.

I wasn't ganging up. Too bad you feel that way. I was personally confused because typically if someone gets a "permanent" procedure done you wonder why they would ttc if they technically can't unless they've had medical intervention.

You never did answer the question either.

Sorry ladies I was having a emotional night lastnight please excuse my rudeness if I came off that way. I need to start over.

I have 3 great kids 1 boy 2 girls I had a tubal ligation with my 3rd pregnancy during my csection there are 3different ways to have a tubal ligation..1-burning your tubes (which is what I had done) actually tieing the tubes and clipping the tubes. The procedure I had done had the highest failure rate which gives me some hope. I wish my doctor didn't push me into this. My whole family has 3 kids, my sister's, my mom and my husband's family all have 3 kids so I felt like it was the right thing to do. I was surprised that this past month I had a chemical pregnancy which is sad but hopeful knowing that my procedure isn't 100%. One of the questions one of you ladies asked is how come it's different now baby dancing then what I usually do. Well before this I didn't really know the failure rate of my procedure so I didn't technically "try" but after just researching and researching I feel confident that things can happen. I'm sorry again I don't want any bad blood on here because I used this website for all 3 of my pregnancies and even made great friends. I hope I cleared up questions I can't remember some of them so if you girls want to know anymore just ask again

Must be awful to be pressured into something like that. I hope you are one of the high failure rate ones! Good luck.
