First time posting...

Postby joy569 » Thu Apr 05, 2018 5:01 am

Hi All
So this is the first time i have posted on a forum. I just feel that its difficult discussing what I'm going through with even my closest family and friends because they don't understand what I'm going through. I just turned 31 in March and I am on the journey of TTC. I started with my first consult with my fertility specialist in Jan 2018 and she requested I do a HSG test. They discovered that my right tube is blocked but my left seems to be fine. I now have to lose some weight and as I have PCOS as well and my period is very irregular. I am now on Provera to regulate my period. My next appointment is end of May and I'm hoping that I will be able to start the IUI process with the June cycle. I am doing this on my own so I'm using a donor. Is there anyone who has been through something similar or anyone with tips on making this dream of mine become reality?

I seen my consultant yesterday, found out that 2yrs ago when I had my ovaries checked, they found something on my right side?? I had another scan a week later and they said there was nothing there... heard nothing else!, so for 2yrs we have been struggling, and being depressed, wondering weather we should give up as my daughters near 12 now!?? :( all this time I could of been fixed and had a baby??? I’m getting bloods done 21 of this cycle and day 2 of my next cycle and I gotta have a hsg test too xx

Hey there! Hope you are doing fine. Welcome to this forum. I was diagnosed with PCOS. I had TTC many times but all in vain. I had miscarriage thrice. Then I came to about surrogacy. I applied for it and blessed with a child. I hope that you would start the IUI process. But if you had any problem surrogacy is the best option. Best wishes.

Ahh that’s lovely that you found someone whom would do something like that for you?
I’ve had all my progesterone 21day/cycle day 2 bloods done, waiting to hear back from the specialist?. Hoping it’s all quick cause he said it would be.
He did mention when I was last there that he wanted to do a hsg test!,so fingers crossed I get an appointment for that ! Hope ur surrogacy went smoothly :) xx

Though I never had similar situations. But we are on the same boat of TTC. So I could clearly understand the words you wrote and the emotions behind. You have to be strong enough. You would surely get your gift. This is a tough journey and you have to be a fighter. This would make you a strong woman. And the time you would have a baby. You would understand the struggle you had to have this blessing. I would like to wish you all the luck and love. Stay positive. Good days are coming.

Hi,hope you are doing good.I am from york,UK and have started to look for options and treatments.I believe IVF is not reliable as success ratio is minimum and have been suggested to go for surrogacy.I too am infertile.I am a bit down and not sure about this.I lost my baby during an unfortunate accident.I fell down the stairs and lost my child. After that we ttc but i couldn't concieve.I consulted my doctor and told me about surrogacy.I researched about it and found that a clinic in Ukraine is very good.I have been in contact with them and am completely satisfied.Their doctors have been polite and generous enought to answer to my emails and guide me if i need it and also send my reports via email since i dont live in Ukraine and cant visit.
