82 sounds about right for May here in GA. August it's 98 though! SO hot!

I haven't been that long without a 30 hour work week. I've been without since probably November? Now I work about 15 hours a week so it's super part time. We seem to do fine financially just living off of DF's income so it's not too devastating. Just boring sometimes. But I've taken up a lot of hobbies that I would have never had time for otherwise.

:hi: ladies!

Wondering if I could join in over here. Almost everyone in the group I was in before is now pregnant, so that thread has died down quite a bit and it's kind of lonely.

Name: Tia
DH Name: Josh
How Long You've been TTC: 21 months
Anything else you'd like to say. (Supplements, diagnosis, baby names, if you want a boy or a girl first. ):
My signature pretty much tells the story so far and my blog has the long version, but I'll try to shorten it up. I tried femara and clomid, but only ovulated once so we switched to injectables. My first cycle was cancelled for "no response" and my RE told me he was baffled that there wasn't any follicle growth seen on the ultrasounds. Well, I really surprised him when I ovulated a week later and conceived. The pregnancy was going just fine, but at my first u/s the baby was measuring a bit behind. At the second u/s, it was measuring further behind and the heartbeat was only in the 90s. Finally, the third u/s at 8w3d confirmed that we had lost our little one and I was sent home with cytotec to finish the miscarriage.

My second round of injectables, we tweaked my meds a bit and I was surprised to find out that I was pregnant again. Unfortunately, I started bleeding at 5w0d and found out that my beta was only 3 after starting out good the week before.

The third round of injectables, we conceived triplets. I had a very uneventful pregnancy and was told that everything looked perfect until just after 19 weeks when I started spotting. The first time that I went to the hospital to get it checked out, I was sent home and told that everything looked fine. However, the next day I had more spotting and some mild cramping. Long story short, my cervix had shortened to just 0.9cm and was dilated to 1cm. I went into preterm labor and abrupted, causing me to deliver all three babies at 19w4d. I hemorrhaged and nearly died during the whole ordeal, but quickly recovered after a couple of blood transfusions.

Currently, I'm still on a break since losing the triplets January 7th and am waiting on some testing from a new RE. My old RE only wanted to proceed with IVF and an elective single embryo transfer which was going to cost just over $19,000...money we definitely don't have just sitting around and don't have insurance coverage for. The new RE is ok with trying injections again, so we are hopeful to get a round going after my next AF shows. All of my testing for the pregnancy losses has come back normal, so we don't really have any answers, besides just terrible luck.

Well, that should sum it all up. Good luck to everyone over here! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all :)

AshleeI've been thinking of going back to bartending. I'm pretty good at it and I make amazing tips. I could also go back to being an assistant teacher at a daycare center. There are two problems with these, though:

1. We only have one car right now. Jay's job is 25 miles away and requires him to drive to other stores during the day, twice a month, for corporate checks. So I can't exactly drop him off and pick him up every day.

2. I'm trying to get pregnant (obviously) and in bars people tend to smoke (not healthy at ALL) and drunk people are unpredictable (there have been close calls). In daycare centers, the children keep me SO sick all the time. It's like I have a constant cold. That can't be too healthy.

3. DF doesn't really want me to work right now. Especially not in the bar area again. I think he's been getting spoiled - now that I'm home all of HIS chores get done by me and he gets a super home cooked meal every night. Last time I was working, this wasn't the case. I was just TOO tired.

See my logic here? THIS is what keeps me lazy. :( Good thing most of my friends are moms so I get out with them during the day because they SAH too!!

WELCOME! Hawkeye Sorry to hear about your triplets. :( I'm sure everyone here will be happy to have some new people. It's pretty much just been me and onthelanai talking to each other on this thread. The boards in general have died down lately. No bueno! I hope the injections work for you again! The IVF does sound super expensive... I can't imagine anyone really having the money to cover that. And insurance now is such bu****it. FX for you, honey!

Brit: Thanks for the warm welcome!

Ashley: FX those twinges are a nice follie growing. Glad to hear that the side effects are better than Clomid so far.

Maddy: Yay for the temp jump! I'm hoping it stays up and that all of those dreams are a sign of something good for you.

AFM, I'm totally kicking myself right now. I just realized that I had enough Femara left to do 5mg CD3-7 this month, but it's already CD7! So frustrating. I should be hearing back from the RE soon about my CD3 testing and am hoping they let me start taking provera to induce a new cycle again in another week. My last RE let me start it on CD 13 the cycle that we did an HSG so I only had a 23 day cycle and was able to get started with meds again faster. Although, come to think of it...I do have 5 days of provera left that I could always use to jump start a cycle without the RE calling any more in. Hmm...tempting b/c this wait is killing me!

Hey Ladies

How's things going??

I'm feeling pretty despondent this month. Feeling like I'm out yet another month. Even went and bought some Evening Primrose Oil caps to try this next cycle.

Haver never used OPK's and think I must actually use them next month and temp.

BD'ing is not easy either though as DH is always away for work over the right time!!! :(

Onthelanai, Hawkeye, and Maddy.... what I'm I gonna do with you guys? Sending lots of luck ya'lls way! I seem to be the only one in this thread who isn't taking fertility drugs. Might as well be considering the way I've been feeling.

Onthelanai I hope those eggs are growing nice and BIG and beautiful! I bet they are. I've got a good feeling about March! Ugh, my immune system isn't so great either. Don't you just love the perma-cold??

Hawkeye You sound stocked up!! Next cycle you'll have everything straight, just take inventory of what you have  LOL So, I'm not too familiar with how fertility drugs work but since you didn't do Femara this cycle, will you still be in the TTC game or do you absolutely have to restart AF and take the Femara??

Maddy Yay for the temp rise! Whoop, whoop! :jump: All those preggo dreams have GOT to mean something! Got my FX that those dreams are really PREMONITIONS! -- DF and I have been talking about just going up there with close family and friends. We only planned on inviting about 30-40 but now we might cut the number. To save money and because all those people = STRESS, big time.

Miley EPO works wonders! I definitely promote using it. :) Welcome, btw!

Afm1 dpo, BBs are sore, right on time! I feel like we got some good BD'ing in but I only got 2 days worth of EWCM and it was the days leading up to O, not actually the day before or day of O? Maybe I should take more than 1000mgs next cycle. I'll probably up it to 1500mgs. Lets hope I don't need to, though...
