Yep but nothing was done as already had a pap earlier this year. Did paperwork but overall a waste of time but did get another appt and the receptionist said as I have been irregular before that I really should not worry as much and if negative pg tests then it will happen when it does......pointless! :-(

That's super frustrating...I'm sorry!
Hopefully either AF will show soon so can start over or you are just ovulating really late.
Hopefully you can do something fun to get your mind off all of it.

Hey just checkin to see how everyone is doing!

We have been doing the loads of paperwork for adoption. We thought our homestudy would be approved by March. Unfortunately our social worker just called yesterday to tell us she wants to push it all back. We are not going to start our homestudy until April now because there are a lot of people on the wait list ahead of us so she thinks we should wait a little. Big bummer but it lets us relax more during the holidays which is nice.

How r u guys doing?

Yippee!!! That's so wonderful Charlotte!

I totally understand that you would be nervous, but I hope you can enjoy it too.

My best friend had an early miscarriage similar to you. Two cycles later she got pregnant again and she just gave birth last month to a happy healthy baby boy. No two pregnancies are alike.

Saying prayers for you! Congrats!

Hi everyone,

Have recently read many posts on this thread but am new to this so please forgive me if I don't use correct terminology!

I have been ttc for 5 years now with my partner who I have been with for 7 years. He is 29 and I am 24.

At the age of 16 I was 38weeks and sadly lost my twin girls with previous partner, then at the age of 17 I lost my little boy at 21 weeks with my current partner, then at 18 I had a miscarriage at 14 weeks then couple months later lost another baby at 16 weeks, a few months after that I had an ectopic pregnancy and was treated with oral medication. I was then diagnosed with pcos and endometriosis which was lazered off in 2010. I have ha two miscarriages both at 14 weeks since then.

I was referred to fertility in September 2013 and after being told to lower my BMI which I did I was then given all tests and so was my partner which all came back really good!

I started taking 50mg of clomid on 17th dec 13 (D2 of my cycle) until 21st dec 13 (D6). I experienced no side effects. I had a scan on D8 and was told there were 3 small follicles all under 10mm in size. On D14 of my cycle I was told to start my OPKs which came up positive up until D17 of my cycle and me and my partner were active everyday.
I then had my progesterone levels checked on D22 and received results on D24 which showed progesterone levels at 41 which showed I had ovulated :)!

On D26 I had slight period cramps and a negative pregnancy test on D28 :( and cramps again on D29 and D30 :(

Now just waiting for my period to come so I can start my second round of clomid (docs are keeping me at 50mg)

I'm so disheartened and confused as to why this round didn't work as I had sex on correct dates based on docs advise and OPKs and my progesterone levels showed I had ovulated as my levels were 41 so don't understand what want wrong!

If anyone else is going through this or similar then please rest as I really feel like I'm alone at the minute :'(

Thank you and good luck to you all that are trying to conceive xx

Hi ahoward! i am so sorry for all your losses it must be so awful. I have had one early m/c and that was hard enough! Did your dr's ever find out the cause of all your m/c? I hope your specialist can figure out why this is happening to you so they can prevent it happening again? do you have low progesterone or a incompetent cervix? :( I can totally see why you feel so depressed, you have been through so much!!

Don't feel disheartened about the clomid not working the first time it usually takes a few rounds and in my case i did clomid then got a natural bfp afterwards after ttc 18 months and no conceptions! don't give up hope hun!!!!This board is amazing you will love it, so many supportive ladies, who know more answers than most dr's!!!!

Welcome! xx

Hi everyone :) I've been looking for a board to join and was hoping I could join yours? My name's Alexis and I'm 29, my DH is 27. We're in our fourth cycle ttc #1 although we were NTNP since April of last year. This whole baby making thing makes me so nervous. I've never been pregnant, never miscarried, just nothing. I feel like something should have happened by now, you know? Anyway, I asked my doctor if she could run some tests. Just basic ones, nothing fancy, to see if everything was working as it should be. She gave me a pap smear (which I get every sixth months anyway) but said she wouldn't do anything else until we've been actively ttc for a year.. So being OCD I booked another appointment with a different doctor who I will see Feb.11 . This one is a gyno/ob whereas the other was just my GP so maybe he can give me some insight or tips.

Newzealand- Congratulations!! :) I hope you have a sticky bean! Sending out lots of goodluck vibes to you! It's nice chatting to someone else in the southern hemisphere! (I live in South Africa)

ahoward- Sorry for your worries. You are not alone! I wonder every month why it didn't work, what's wrong with me, etc. Just stay strong and stay positive.

Hope everyone gets their BFP's and those little beans stay sticky! Baby dust xxx

Hello ladies!

It's nice to have some new friends on this board. Welcome!

Ahoward- I can't imagine what you have been through. We have been ttc 19 months and I have never seen a bfp. Have you been tested for blood clotting disorders? Several people I know and family members have a blood clotting disorder which causes miscarriages and doesn't show signs until you are ttc. It's an easy test I think.

Char- I've been reading your blog...things are looking good. Prayers and hugs!

Not much going on with us...we are officially signed up for adoption but the waitlist is slow so we are kinda in limbo right now. We are back to ttc for a few months but trying to not put too much stress on it.

Happy thoughts!
