Control line on OPK

Postby brit2008 » Sun Oct 23, 2016 3:18 pm

So I bought a batch of Answer OPK's. Each time I've tested the control line is a light color. I know the test line has to be as dark or darker for it to be a positive, but I'm wondering if this is a bad batch since the control line is so light.I've looked at alot of them online and the control line is darker than what mine are showing. Is this normal? or should I just throw them out?

I don't know what to say bcs i don't have any experience with those tests but maybe you could try another brand and see what it shows up or maybe ur way to early to get a line.Maybe you could post pictures of ur tests.

Answer opks are horrible. Ive used them several cycles and they are either positive with fmu for like 5 days or nothing. Id say get some internet cheapies or the CBD digital not the advanced.

Yeah they were very odd. I had 2 or 3 positives, which I think were flukes bc I check my cervix daily and it didn't match up at all. I got another positive on CD18 (30th) and had EWCM also my cervix was high, very soft and open so I'm pretty sure that was an accurate result. Pretty sure I O'd on the 1st. I am 100% never buying that brand again. Tracking your cycle is frustrating enough without unreliable OPK's.

I second internet cheapie. They are a good bang for your buck and they always work really well (or they have done for me in the past).
