Weirdest cycle ever?

Postby thirdnerd » Thu Feb 09, 2017 11:44 am

Ugh, has this happened to anyone else where you get multiple LH surges but no ovulation? Every week I am getting a few days of positive OPKs and then nothing. Today I tested again and instantly got this positive, but I don't trust it. I'm on CD 26! I feel like I should just go on Provera and start again next month. Look at how much sex I've been having to have! Aaaagh lol

So sorry, that's got to be so frustrating! The positive opk's are proof that your body is trying to O. It's actually pretty common for you to see multiple patches of ewcm and multiple LH surges in a cycle where O is delayed or an anovulatory cycle. It's good to see that you are getting fertile cm and LH surges, though.

How does this compare to past cycles for you?

I haven't tracked cycles before, but I have "mild" PCOS and rarely get periods. Actually, I've been a little more regular since this past fall, but I have never had a 28 day cycle- ever. I am just wondering if the Clomid isn't doing it's thing at 50mg. I just turned 40 and am hoping my body is going to cooperate. ;)

Hopefully one of these surges results in O for you!

I seriously have no idea how you manage to have that much sex.

DH and I tire pretty quickly and it's all we can do to get to cd 16 or so. Plus I get pretty sore if I do more than 2 or 3 days in a row.

Hopefully you will O soon. You guys probably need a break lol.

Thank God I finally ovulated two days ago, so we can stop having sex for a few weeks. Normally I wouldn't be all manic about it, but I had three sets of positive OPKs, so I kept thinking I was about to ovulate. It didn't happen until CD 26 though, so that's why it was such an effort! Hope I get pregnant this cycle; I don't think we can do that schedule again! ;)
