These are my two OPK's from today, is the bottom one positive?

I've had really strong cramps today too

It's technically not quite positive, but you're almost there. You will probably get an obvious positive tonight or tomorrow morning. :)

Assuming you get a definite positive tomorrow, I'd probably count today as positive since it's sooo close.

My surge didn't last long, it was negative again by 6pm! We managed to BD yesterday though and are doing so again today.

I was doing some reading online last night and apparently it's best to BD a day before you get your positive OPK too.. How the hell are you supposed to know haha!

If you plan to BD every other day as you approach your fertile window, you should have sperm always waiting for the egg. With these standard opk's, it is kind of a guessing game, unless you find your cycles are very consistent, then you can plan a bit better.

They are pricey, but the advanced opks (digital ones) will give you a reading of high or peak, so they give you up to 4 days warning of O. The high reading detects high estrogen which is what triggers your LH surge. Peak identifies your LH surge.

The best thing you can do other than opk's is to make sure you BD any time you see fertile cm!

Thanks! I did wonder as on the app I use to chart everything there was an OPK option for "positive" and another for "highly fertile"
