I honestly think things are looking just fine for you! That test looks great and that discharge is hardly anything. :)

Thank you, BeeCee! The nurse just called me. She said that light brown spotting is normal at the beginning of pregnancy and even some mild cramping like I've been having. She said generally it's from the baby implanting into the uterus. She said if it starts getting heavier and turning red, or pain gets worse, then there is a problem and to call back and they would get me in sooner.

Yes, I'm feeling some relief and tentatively excited again. That quick positive showing up on my test made me feel a lot better, too. I can't wait for my appointment and to get a sonogram!

I'm trying hard not to get upset, but I had little bit of brown on my liner a few minutes ago. I wiped and got this. It's the first time that it's really been red tinged.

Ugh I know how stressful that is and I wish it would just get out of there so you don't have to worry! The good news is that it's not much, and it's still pretty brown/pink. Just think back to what the nurse told you- chances are it's totally normal bleeding unless you see quite a bit of flow, especially with cramping. What's on the tissue there is honestly very, very little and I would say falls into the category of non-worrisome bloody discharge. My doctor told me that even light flow of fresh blood can still be totally normal. But yours is better than that- I would call it spotting, or even less... blood tinged cm. I really do think you're ok, but I understand 100% why you are worried. Sometimes all you can do in this position is repeat these words to yourself: "Right now, I am pregnant." Say them over and over and over if you need to. <3

Thank you so much for continuing to talk me through this, Beecee. It means a lot. We haven't told anybody yet, because we were wanting it to be a surprise. I just really want this baby. I'm going to try to relax. You're right, it is still very light. Hopefully that's all it will be and it clear up soon. I'm having very mild cramping, but nothing serious. I'll keep you updated. Thank you again. It helps to have someone to talk to.

Absolutely. :) The ladies on this site have been with me through thick and thin, so I know the value of having good support. Plus, even husbands can't understand all that we go through in this process. Sometimes other women who have been there are the only ones who can truly understand our worries!

As for cramping, that's not a bad sign. In fact, the lack of early pregnancy cramps were part of why I knew my last two pregnancies had ended. With my son, I had these mild stretching, pulling, tightening tight cramps for several weeks. I also had them the first few days of the two pregnancies I lost. Those ones are good! It means your uterus is preparing for growth. It's the strong AF cramps that actually hurt that can mean something worrisome is going on. (But you can still have those with a healthy pregnancy, too.)

Try to find some things to distract you... hang out with a friend or go somewhere where you actually have to talk to people. That always helped me get my mind off of things. Otherwise I just sat and stewed in my worry, which is no way to live!

Does this look bad? It's a dark brown. That's the darkest brown I've seen it by far. It's been a light to medium brown color. This is from 2 wipes, then there was nothing else on toilet paper. Also, this is my 14 hour work day. Been on my feet all day, 12 hours now, and nothing has gotten on my liner yet. Just when I wipe after peeing. It's like it pushes it out. Also, haven't cramped as much today, just off and on little twinges. Is that a bad sign?

I'd say that definitely looks like old blood working it's way out. No need to panic! I wouldn't feel the cramps if I was busy doing stuff, but would once I say quietly for awhile. They would also come and go and some people don't have them, so it really doesn't mean much! I think you're still ok!

Well, this is what just came out. It's still dark brown tinged with a little pink. Picture made it look more red than it actually was. It did have that slimy, blood clot like tissue, but it was brown, too.

I don't know what to think. I'm feeling discouraged. Guess there's nothing to do but wait it out and see. Seems to be increasing instead of slacking off, though. Also, I did cramp more after going to bed last night. Nothing major, but I definitely felt it more so than while I was up and going yesterday.

Yes, positive, but a lighter positive than the one on Monday. Figure that's a bad sign. I'm waiting to hear back from Doctors office now.

It can go either way... can you post a picture of them?
