First Response Digital Test help!!

Postby amare21 » Tue Feb 06, 2018 8:05 am

Hello everyone!
I am new to the board and am looking for some advice if anyone has ever used this test. I purchased a First Response Digital Ovulation test at my local target. It came with 20 sticks and instructions read to pee on 1 stick, once every day, roughly around the same time and to start on day 5 of my period. After peeing on the stick, it will say NO-, until the day before ovulation, which will then read YES +
I got my last period on 1/20/2018. My estimated ovulation date (according to my GLOW app) is tomorrow 2/7/18.
its been 17 days since the first day of my last period and I am still getting NO- results.
Has anyone ever used this test before? Does this seem right? Can you ovulate this late into a cycle?? I am hoping I didn't get a faulty test! Its so nerve racking taking this test the past 4-5 days and keep seeing a NO- symbol !!

Hi there, First Response is not available where i live but I just wanted to say that yes you can ovulate that late. i generally ovulate on cd 18. When i do use opks i only start them around cd 13 otherwise its a waste. Also ive read that lots of ladies get better results in the afternoon with lh tests. Good luck!

Hey there! How long is your cycle usually. I know that ovulation occurs about 14 days before your next period. So if you have a long cycle, the strips might be right. But I haven't tested them. Someone here will surely help you. Good luck!
